Tbh, everyone who remembers how it was before “social media” saw the effects building since the early-mid 2000s. After covid it was like everyone woke up from a coma and said “wtf?”
Delta got emotional around 26:00, that statement from Cosmo hit me too. You need to be passionate about what you do. Lord, let me find my passion, or maybe I already know what it is but too scared to go for it.

This is not a specific comment about this episode but, rather about the show and Delta Work as a whole. I am currently 32 years old native Angeleno as well. and after watching and listening to the Pod for some time, I just really appreciate how mature, earnest, and comfortable Delta is with herself. This has been so helpful to me. Also, Delta's work has inspired me to develop my voice. At the beginning of every episode, Delta's "Rant" is such a great masterclass on letting loose and being tongue-in-cheek without taking yourself too seriously. I love a good "go off" even for small things. Such a LA thing if you ask me

And I gotta admit it, just moved to Florida after 6 years living in New York and hearing that accent and getting that singular vibe that only New Yorkers carry and stamp in everything they do made me feel right back at home for the duration of the interview at least!

Love the discussion about scent. So many folks don’t know certain folks just struggle with scent. So maybe have that discussion about “it’s hard-do many things trigger my body. I love certain scents (mention hers) “I love it but I end up getting so sick w vomiting and diarrhea. I’m still looking for an answer!” And share that doctors have said it’s best to stay away from fragrances for now. Now, if she has any empathy-she will either stop or dial it way down! Worst case: you’ll have to talk to the boss/supervisor and share your illness.
