Cool trip. Couldn’t tell you’all we’re sweating from the video - looked like it was cold. Fun fact - super sweet corn was developed by breeding sweet corns and need not be GMO. If it is, the genetic modifications are to the husk and stalk, to make it tough for bugs to chew-not to the fruit. That Mexican corn is just a different non-sweet variety - it cud still be GMO. It is my favorite variety especially with salt and butter, and what I grew up with. So sad that US supermarkets won’t carry it anymore.
I like the starchy corns! You can still find it online in the Asian online market/Asian markets. the mexican corns are so similar to the in China~ GMO is banned in china (unless it is imported as produce, not as agriculture products).
How much time did you have at the lagoon before you had to head back to the ship? I’m going in a few weeks and debating doing this excursion!
It actually depends on your cruise schedule. We had about 2 hours I believe.

I think they increased the price since last time we did the excursion in summer 2022. It used to be around $130, but I think now it is higher…
