What an incredibly rare gift it is to have a voice like Marko's. Like it's rare enough to have a fantastic singing voice in general, but to retain that voice in its entirety through so many years like he has is just amazing.
True, and it's not that he has an insane vocal range, but he knows how to use it as a true master of the craft.
This song played at my wedding as the song immediately following “I do”. It was beautiful and perfect- we also played “Someone Special” while I walked down the aisle. Highly recommend POTF songs for weddings if anyone was on the fence about it. 💕
In the future when I get married I would totally play "The Sweet Escape"

After being single for an eternity...I met the one I thought I'd die with. She was severely suffering. Lotta trauma from her past. I brought this music I to her life. Fragile...The Alexander theater sessions version was the first one. It fit her. I sang it to her. It was a beautiful blessing...her being in my life. Well...she's gone now. I still sing this to her every single night. She may not hear it...but it's there. Without fail. As is Children Of The Sun. More often then not I break down. And it's ok. POTF has been with me since Late Goodbye. I'm truly humbled. An addict in recovery...15 months now...the music of POTF sets me free. I can purge my very soul...and I do...with this music.
I am blessed and truly humbled to have heard that janitor humming Late Goodbye in Max Payne 2. Saying thank you is a severe understatement. You know a lot of people find meaning in music to make it their own metaphorically. As of lately with these guys it's not metaphoric it's quite literal. And it hurts like hell.. but it's very easy to bring that pain to the surface and set it free with the music and the lyrics from these guys. Again I am blessed and truly humbled to have come across their music when I did. I've been following them since the beginning and they have been there without fail for everything. Their music has been a major tool in me setting myself free and saving my own life. I cannot thank you enough. If I had to pick one in particular.. well good God that's a tough one.. I would have to say Children Of The Sun the Alexander theater sessions version. Rarely can I sing that entire song without at the very least my voice cracking and getting misty-eyed. So profound. It's one of those songs that I don't sing for myself I sing it in prayer for others. A very specific view. Thank you again and God bless.

It's been 10 whole years now since I first heard one of your songs (it was while playing Alan Wake) and I keep being amazed by how amazing your music is. I really love these versions of the songs, and they're the highlight of the month for me. Fragile was, just like the previous songs, a perfect fit for this project. I believe Marko, Olli and Captain can be seen on a tv-screen in game with Sam Lake for an interview (as Poets of the Fall). You should replay the game now that you know this 😎

I still remember finding these guys from a Fallout 3 video exploring the outside of Vault 87 someone uploaded years ago before I even found out about Remedy Entertainment. It was sometime during secondary school and all these years later they still remain to be my favorite band, hell I even taught myself to sing through emulating Marko and his style and working off of that

My ex had a horrible horrible life and I sang this song to her she fell in love with these guys. Well she's gone I don't get in that right now didn't end well. Hearing the song.. I don't know. It's difficult. But it's Poets of the fall. I've been listening to them since Laker by dropped in Max Payne 2 back in 2001 or whatever it was. Their music has helped save my life more than once.

Really liked to hear this. One of my favorite PoTF songs. Not to sound like a old fart, but I really like the 1st four albums, then it somehow got, subjectively, too simple PoP-like (with rare exceptions). Still one of my favorite bands, tho, listening to the older albums really often. Hats off to you, gentleman.
Yea, I also don't prefer the more pop-ish songs but they are amazing anyway
I did notice that rock to pop gravitation with them too. But in the end, the poets still live up to their name. Although more softer and less grungy like their past work, many of their songs during the newer albums don't fall short. They sound phenomenal and passionate as ever, to top with Marko's still-solid voice. My favorites from the newer eras come mostly from Ultraviolet.
