Athene was high energy in his videos, but couldn't keep up the persona on his streams. In 2022 you can get away with acting differently on different platforms, but not at the rise of livestreaming in 2015-16. RIP

Athene raid back in the day actually made me really popular in league scene, he was one of the first people to do just chatting but just in league category... good memories :/
Athene was a cool guy, he was just ahead of the curve and was too early for streaming. If he was born 5-7 years later then he was he'd be a 50,000 sub mega Andy. The scene just wasn't there in his time, but he had alot of success back in his day despite this. Now days the things he does are a bit weird though, certain people character assassinated him and he never recovered.
Correct me if I'm wrong but age doesn't make you start cults or start engaging in any specific problematic behavior, let alone prevent you from becoming a popular streamer😭 He could literally just start streaming again if that was the only problem, the problem is his personality and willingness to scam his own fans.... 18:24 He didn't view bot himself, Stake did, that's why it didn't matter if he went offline or not.
What he means is that when a streamer goes offline all the viewers are cut off from the stream/viewcount until they refresh the stream. Either there are real people refreshing the stream or those are very expensive viewbots since refreshing the stream on so many accounts is really difficult
Not all bots but most generic view bots would force the bot operative to reset them when the stream is disconnected, although Felix's take is fairly valid it is open to abuse from vigilant bot operators
I remember tuning in and donating here and there to him in 2016/2017 when I was young. Great times and actually entertaining. The legendary Zoo-Hunter winning spree that turned out to be fake was something else

This video and everyone who plays it is good reason for Athene to sue people for slander. Such misinformation and BS spread about him and then presented to people who know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about him, creating a totally false image of him. Hilariously, Athene started being attacked when he became more popular in NA, and NA andies were too dumb to understand his sarcasm and were offended by it. You could literally see on his videos on how dislikes started pouring in on videos that once had 99% likes. Sad, cancel culture ruined Athene and then even falsely accused him of being some sort of a cult leader while ignoring all the excellent things him and his organization were doing. He did more good for the world than all of today's twitch streamers combined, and that's a fact. The amount of children who survived, had clothes, food, etc. because of what he did is counted in millions today, yet, that doesn't matter, because some guy made a video claiming that he's a cult leader, with no evidence whatsoever, and everyone who ever worked for him or with him claiming otherwise. He was simply too genius for this world.

Well you don't understand defamation law clearly, there is also an incredible amount of similar videos aimed at athene, namely people make games. His contributions to charity mean fuck all if he's a disgusting person, it's purely a psuedo-ego boost. If athene had any ground to sue we would have seen it, and the lack there of surely plays into the truth of this. How about putting that energy of admiration into someone who hasn't repeatedly violated his community.

“Together To The Top” (TTTT) was revolutionary, Athene’s TTTT movement boosted lower-tier YT’s popularities. Which is why I think he was one of the most bad-ass CZcamss in his prime. I personally don’t believes he’s a cult-leader. I think it was simply suppose to be a joke. Though, I think the majority of ppl took it the opposite of in intentions. Athlene’s actions may have been the first YT to make as much money in sponsorships than any other YT’er, in his genre. Athene made a huge impact to the trajectory sponsorships in the upcoming future for other YT’s.
