    Mark, I don't know what translation you used, but there is no exception for divorce AND remarriage in Mark 10:1-12, Luke 16:14-18, Romans 7:2-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:1-2, 10-11 and 39. When you tell people that they can divorce for these reasons it is implied that you can remarry while, but at the beginning you said that only DEATH ends the marriage. Divorce doesn't end the marriage, only death. Matthew is only for FORNICATION divorce during the Jewish betrothal, like Joseph was going to divorce his betrothed wife, Mary who he thought had fornicated. This message was just like John MacArthur who says the reasons you can divorce and remarry. Maybe there is a video that you clearly say that divorce AND remarriage is adultery instead of saying to "move on" after waiting a while?

    What about physical abuse? Can you move on?

      Physical abuse is one of the least backed up reasons for divorce biblically, not sure why really it seems like an obvious reason, but God saw fit to not make it clear so I am one to believe we should really study and pray to find out why... search "Berean patriot reasons for divorce" and read his write up, it's very long and in depth, but very insightful.

    Abuse seperation? Divorce?

    • @mrmonay
      @mrmonay Před rokem

      Abuse is one one of the weakest arguments for abuse in the Bible, there's very little that backs that up as a reason, and you have to do a lot of piecing together parts from all over to get to a justification argument. Why that is, I'm not sure... search "Berean patriot reasons for divorce" and he's got an blog post that really dives deep on these issues and he goes over this as well.

      @@grant2149 yeah it's a tough one for many reasons, but it's also a bit of a red herring, where the vast majority of Christian marriages are not dealing with it as a real issue, but it's often the most brought up issue in this conversation.

    Once you say Abandonment you are already in error. There seems to be a lack of understanding
