Hi everyone! Here's my 2020 Inktober Sketchbook Tour! Working on the daily drawings and keeping up with the schedule helped me a lot this year. I feel like it helped me to regain my confidence with inking and marker shading, so I'm really happy with how the month went! It was so fun to try lots of different drawing ideas. I hope you enjoy this sketchbook tour!
Be sure to let me know what you think of my sketchbook. And also let me know if you took part in the challenge!
Thank you so much for the continued amazing support! I truly appreciate it and I can't wait to share more drawings and videos with you soon. Hope you're all having a great day!
-Chris
I tried and I did horribly at this, as in, everyone I showed it to didn’t like it. I stuck to the Halloween theme as well. The drawings were good otherwise.
I’d love to show you but I got no idea how and I’m busy with college. But in my free time I could tell you the basic story...
Can you draw turkey 🦃 please?
Jeej i love you,re sketchbook tour,s LethalChris Drawing
Yyeeee i was waiting for this vid, I absolutely love all the other Inktobers ❤❤❤❤❤ And great job on this year's Inktober
Hello LethalChrisDrawing. Are you gonna do inktober next year? I wanna participate next year. I love you,re drawings
For a guy called LethalChris he seems very calm
For real tho
100 agreed by the community
The pumpkin spiders seem very calm too. But it doesn't mean they're not lethal. : )
Leathal with them markers
What an amazing journal - I can’t believe you were able to create such a detailed book in one month !!!!
Thank you so much!!! :)
@@LethalChris1 *cough cough doac0llabwithJazza

:')
Oh man, listening to you talk just gives me a feeling that everything will be fine and I just get pulled into your drawings, nice work man, they look incredible. Be safe
That's so nice to hear! Thank you for the kind words and support. :) I really appreciate it. Hope you're doing well and having a great weekend.
He seems like he genuinely enjoys what he’s doing and makes me think he really cares about his audience. That’s very rare nowadays and I’m glad I was introduced
Sorry to hear about Smudge and Charlie.
I'm a cat fanatic so I know how you feel when they are gone
Thank you so much for the support, Terry. I really appreciate it. :) Hope you're having a great weekend.
Almost teared up when you spoke of your beloved cats 😞

So who else sees that the red caped character's cape always flows to the left
This is the best Inktober sketchbook you've ever done. Amazing
Thank you so much!!! :)
No go check 2021
If I’d have created just 1 of the beautiful drawings in a month I’d be thrilled. Fabulous!
Thank you so much!
This was the inktober sketchbook tour I was looking forward to the most. I was blown away from Fish onward. I really love the choice of colors, the trees, white highlights, the red caped figure. Each one is a masterpiece, even the cover art.
The one for HOPE reminded me of a small tree I saw when backpacking. It was high elevation, so probably covered with snow 10-11 months out of the year, and it sat right at the edge of the trail. A crooked little tree that had probably been stomped on by thousands of hiking boots over the years. Flattened as a seedling over and over, going unnoticed. Not a shred of kindness shown to it. It wasn't some pampered nursery grown tree with a straight trunk. No way of knowing how old it was with such a short growing season. Struggling for sunlight between the towering giants all around it, and yet, somehow it had survived being crushed and bent and stepped on and frozen in darkness. And still it grew, because that's all it knows how to do. At first I noticed it and thought "charlie brown christmas tree" as I walked past it. But I could not get that little tough tree out of my mind. So I turned back and found it again. And took pictures of it and appreciated it's resolve.
I imagined a day in the long distant future, where that little tree would be so tall and strong and large, that the trail would have to be moved to go Around *it* and nobody would ever step on it again.
Thanks for the memories and the Hope. Something we all need right now
Any dislikes are just jealous of your amazing talent, art supplies, and dedication. No matter what anyone says, you are a great artist!
Edit: you should make a playlist with every inktober

It's always a pleasure to be back in your imagination, Chris. Especially for Inktober. This year's one was so beautiful to view.
Thank you for letting us visit, and for being such an inspiration. You're a big reason for why I'm starting to draw, and branch out on my own art journey.
Thank you so much for the support and kind words, Jessica! It truly means a lot to read this. Wishing you lots of support on your art journey! I hope you're having a great weekend. :)
Breathtaking artworks!
Thank you so much, Jonas! :)
You should make your Granny a calendar with your own penguin art. I'm sure she would truly cherish that and so would you.
the red caped character is you, your mind's projection of yourself within your drawings, expressing your sub-conscious psychological projection of yourself in your almost dream-like fantasy creations, perhaps revealing your inner desire for adventure and discovery - on a lighter note i love your work and after seeing some, you inspired me to take up drawing again, after a 25 year break, thank you
Amazing seeing the development of Inktober over the years!
Thank you so much, Harry! :)
@@LethalChris1 loved watching your videos since 2016!
How did you start up your CZcams channel? I thought about it but never really knew where to start.
I watched your drawings on Instagram and I took part for the first time in this challenge. But just now I realized how many similar ideas we had, but how different we drew them. And I just can say how much I love your drawings and how thankful I am that your art inspired me. So please keep up with your great art.
That's so awesome! I'm really glad to hear you also took part and that we had similar ideas! I hope you had a great time with the challenge. Thank you so much for the support and kind words! :)
These are absolutely incredible and beautiful. I can't even decide which drawing is my favourite because every one is so unique and it looks stunning; so much thought and work put into each one. You are without a doubt one of my top three favourite artists of all time. In no particular order: Will Sliney
Russell Dauterman
Chris Straver.
Amazing work, thank you for all the inspiring art. It is funny, all of LethalChris's drawings, especially the Inktober ones, you could just live in them, like Middle-Earth. Each one is so vivid and imaginative.
Wow! Thank you so much for the amazingly kind words!! This truly means a lot. :) I'm so glad I started taking part in Inktober because it's helped me so much with inspiration and thinking about the possible stories I could try and create. Especially over the past couple of years, since I've been dedicating more time to these sketchbooks. It's been such a positive experience!
Thank you again! I hope you're having a great weekend.
@@LethalChris1 Thank you, you too! Well done again, I still can’t get over how amazing they look
When I see this masterpiece, my heart just stops. Every picture is filled with the spirit of adventure. It is literally a door to another world, to a fantasy world. This is so inspiring!

This is a perfect viedo for cozynes with a warm blanket and inspiration.
The way you draw mushrooms is truly magical
I love your Inktober sketchbooks. I look forward to them every year and I think you posted your sketchbook a bit later this year so I thought you weren't gonna post one. I decided to check again today and to my surprise you did! I am so happy to see the amazing art works you came up with for this year and I would just like to thank you couse you are the original reason why I strarted doing Inktober in the first place. I can't wait to see what you will come up with next year! Amazing work so keep doing what you do, I hope you have a lovely day!
I lobe listening to you talk about your drawings, you always seem really excited about them and i feel like thats what this world needs 💕
The storm depiction shocked me. I mean everything was amazing, but that just stirred something in me. You're a great artist!!!
Thank you for this journey through your art process and for your personal processing of loss! Blessed and safe days!
I loved this sketchbook tour just as I have all of your previous ones. The toned paper really makes the drawing for inktober look so much better. I also really loved the one you did for Charlie and Smudge, it was so sweet. I know I still miss our pup that passed 2 years ago, then his sister passed in Aug. It is so hard to lose them, but it sounds like they had a great life and lots of love. I hope you are doing well Chris, keep up the amazing work it is really inspiring.
I think your drawings are absolutely beautiful. You have also improved a lot in the time I have been watching your art. Hope you feel inspired to keep it up again.
I enjoy your inktober sketchbooks so much, Thanks for sharing them with us.
I find it so inspiring and cute that you're so excited talking about the story behind some of the drawings! Love your work
this fantastic universe with mysterious red caped character has a lot to explore. İ love to think why they were there , what were they looking for , what is their purpose....
czcams.com/video/DHyjNkLps5M/video.html
It's clear that you love what you do and I love watching you talk about your art. Your voice is very soothing and comforting. And every time I see one of your videos, I instantly get motivated to do more art and get better. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.
Your artwork is always something that lets me pause to breath in a busy -stressful or just full- day. Beautiful work! I’m so glad that ink toner helped you find your muse again.
I love watching your Inktober Sketchbook Tours. They get better and better. It would be fun to see an entire Inktober done with the Red Capped character. Looking forward to next year.
This is so cool. I love Mr. Red Capes adventures and your lovely anecdotes and narration. I look forward to your Inktober Sketchbook every year!!!!🌠💓
What a wonderful walkthrough. You do such a wonderful job of making these pieces have a finished look. I did Inktober, this is my 3rd year finishing and my 4th year trying it. I struggle with meeting the daily drawing, but was able to complete the challenge within October this year. In years past I have taken a day or two from November to polish off the list. I really enjoy how personal you let this video be. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your cat, and hope that art can help worth through that loss. Again, amazing work. Thank you for sharing.
I've watched this a few times now and still just blown away. Beautiful work Chris.
I love hearing the joy and pleasure in your voice as you share this with us. I’m in awe of your art, so beautiful, thanks for sharing 🤩
As Inktober started and I saw the first drawings around, I immediately thought, aw I can't wait to see LethalChris' sketchbook tour video for this year! Very lovely work!
I love your sketchbook flips. The coral and cat drawings were my favorites this year. Thank you for sharing them.
Amazing work mate, Don't stop painting :) Love your videos and waiting for the next one. Thanks you !
The combination making with white colour in every piece of art is awesome ❤️❤️
I look forward to your inktober videos every year. Your work is phenomenal, you have such a unique perspective, and I greatly enjoy hearing you speak about your process and creative process. Thanks for another great sketchbook tour!
This is one of the best and most enjoyable INKTOBER video's i have seen so far here on CZcams..

getting some serious tips and experience just from watching this, been goin round yt watching every art video i can find to try out a new art style and this helped out a lot
This is such a lush sketchbook, each drawing is gorgeous. Especially adore the Smudge and Charlie picture ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
You can definitely see your growth over time congratulations
Loved your 2020 inktober sketchbook! It was cohesive, the prompts were imaginatively interpreted. Your artwork style is clean, precise and awesome! Well done!
Your sketchbook blew my mind! I loved that drawing of the Hurricane or Tornado with the boat! That was so creative and my second favorite is the flamingo! The colors there were just gorgeous!
With my family I didn´t finish one inktober in the last years, but got used to paint and draw daily, what helped a lot in having progress. This year I didn´t try at all, Corona makes everything difficult here in Germany. But I must say, your drawings of Inktober blew me away every single year! I am looking forward to have a cup of tea and a look at your Inktober successes 2020 NOW! Thanks for inspiring the world. My daughter loves your dragons and me too! I feared you wouldn´t take part this year...
Love what you came up with for the for the radio idea Oh and the storm idea!!!!!!!!!
You are an amazing artist with amazing creativity! Really enjoyed seeing your art for Inktober.
Every once in awhile, I go on a binge watching CZcams videos. My binges vary on topics depending on my mood. So, today I needed some art inspiration. I’ve been in an art block/rut for quite awhile. Keep trying to break through that wall and start back up. So today, I decided to binge on Sketchbook tours. I stumbled across you....wow. Love you style and artwork. The red cape figure that appears throughout the sketchbook is quite intriguing.
Your sketchbook is so mesmerizing I could literally stare at it all day!
i love your stylized esthetic realistic style and fantasy based drawings! the red caped characters drawings all have so much story in them, i want to read a book on it. I love your work, your a big inspiration, thank you!
I haven't watched this yet. I look forward to seeing these each year, have been a subscriber since Jan 2017. You inspired me to pick up a pencil Chris, thanks
Amazing drawings !! I love the stories behind the man with the red cape!! And your voice makes me feel so calm😄
I just found your channel and this is the first video I have watched but wow! Your art is amazing and the feelings I got from them, there is so much detail and talent in your sketchbook and you’re a huge inspiration! Keep up the great work it’s awesome!
bro it is not okay how good this sketchbook is… like omg so much talent in one vid???!!
I have to say your artistic ability has come a long way! I've seen some of your more recent ones and then this is one of the older videos I've seen of yours. The greatest Improvement I've noticed is in your confidence and therefore your greater ability and ease to use high contrast! In more of your newer videos you use a lot more black and I think that that makes all of your work pop even more! Way to go and thank you for showing us along the way
Thank you for sharing your artwork. I really love your style and especially your use of negative space,
Awesome work, Chris. I really like the way you have developed over the last year. I love the twisted trees too, especially the negative space leaves. Great work. I got up to day 10 of the challenge before other things got in the way. I’ll try again next year.
Every page is Amazing! Delightful!
That's soo cool i like your drawing style it's really calming.
I am very sorry for the loss of your cat, hope you the best!!
Ive been here since 100k subs and ever since, I really love your art style and ofc your voice. I just admire your works.
Not sure why is this being recommended; the last time I drew something nice was like 10 years ago or more, seeing your drawings makes me want to grab my pencils and sketchbook again. You have a very unique style and I love how you use your white ink in every sketch you made. Thanks for sharing your works!
I can’t express how excited I was for this. I watched all of your previous Inktober videos in one sitting and immediately subscribed with notifications on. I love your drawings so so so much (especially the little character with the red cape and all your GORGEOUS dragons.) I sent all your videos to my mom as well because I needed someone else to see how awesome your vids were. You’re so calm and genuine and I love your joy when you’re looking back at your work. Literally love these so much. Thanks for the beautiful work! 🤗
czcams.com/video/DHyjNkLps5M/video.html
Radio, blade and hope are your best this year in my opinion! Really good stuff
RIP drawing was my fav ... sweet sketches mate. 🐈
As always your inktobers are awesome and I might end up drawing some of them.
I love your art ❤️
Thank you so much!! :)
I absolutely love your art. You are such an inspiration to me and I’m sure many other aspiring artists. Your illustrations are BEAUTIFUL
I so enjoy your sketchbook tours. You are very inspiring.
You killed it again! I loved to watch it 🥰
Man now i wish i took part! These are really great, especially like your animal pieces. The koi, flamingo and the whale blew me away! Sorry to hear about your cat passing away, but I'm glad the challenge helped you get back into a routine. The piece with your two cats is really touching!
Your inktoberdrawings were awesome as always. Last year you really inspired me to take part too, so I managed to complete both years. I really liked this inktober and I think it helped my artwork.
I’ve never seen your channel before and this video was in my recommended and it caught my eye and I haven’t felt this inspired by art in ages. Your art style is exactly what I hope to achieve one day
Watching this while I start this year’s inktober and DANG that talent, so inspiring 😭❤️
Been looking forward to seeing your inktober this year, the tour does not disappoint!
Thank you so much!!! :)
Awesome art dude! I just recently picked up the pencil again after multiple years from not drawing and want to make a hobby out of it again, your art is inspiring and I love your style, fav piece from this vid was the radio tower and what you could do in the future is a whole sketch book where each drawing is the red caped warrior and tell a continuous story from all the art, keep it up man!
Love the whale with the dune, they do complement each other! I love it ❤️
I’ve been looking forward for this all month
My goodness your art is lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent with the world. May your art co Tinie to awe and amaze.
The whole time I was watching this video, I couldn't help but think...it would be awesome to turn this into some novel/story using your art.
im such a huge fan of u and i have been following ur posts on instagram and i just wanted to say your videos are wholesome and calming
Wow! This was amazing. I loved everything! Not only art- which is sooo detailed and lovely, but also the thought you have put behind the rather vague prompts! Everyone who sees any image, just gets an entire story in mind! Each of the drawings makes me feel so much! I can only hope to be even half as good as you in future! You are a huge inspiration.
I have been waiting for this video for what feels like forever! Lol it is amazing as always!
I’d love to see more ‘under the garden’ type pictures with the little creatures living in worlds within the garden 🪴 😊
Every October I get really excited for your drawings, and every October you’re better and better 😍 you never disappoint. Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity with us
Your sketches are always amazing! I was looking forward to your Inktober book from this year. Thanks for sharing!
Really amazing pieces, looking forward to seeing your next drawings!
you keep getting better, i had a major event year that kept me away. i am getting ready for this year, very rusty, but think i will just have fun....
You are so talented! I’ve watched all your Inktober tours and you can see such growth this year! You inspired me to participate in MabsDrawlloweenClub this year, my first drawing challenge ever. And I used a toned tan book just like you... but with less than perfect results. I could see how much I improved over the month. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
The desert with the whale looks amazing ! We really get the idea of "sand waves" that's so cool
I love your creativity and you have the skills to make this crealtivity real :)
Thank you so much for the kind words!! It was such a fun idea to try! I want to draw more flying whales haha.
Awesome work. Looking forward for more art work from you.
I really, really enjoyed your inktober sketches. Each one of them has been done with such feeling, patience & loveliness. The red caped figure gives such interesting continuity in your works. Moreover my heart just stopped at your mentioning Smudge & Charlie because I have a cat named Gucci whom I love so much & can't think of my life without him. Anyway fantastic work, would love to see more of it.
Beautiful work! Great imagination! Thanks for sharing
THE way he explains THE drawings are perfect
I really love your style of art. Thank you for sharing.
OMG I LOVE YOUR VOICE!!!
I also really impressed and inspired buy your artworks 🤩🤩🤩!
