I thought that I heard a louder thump from the lift charge on the last shell (i.e. the 48 inch) than I did with the 36 inch. I have been doing this stuff for a few years now and i have set off the 12 inch before. Either way, it is still an amazing show that easily tops $100,000.
awskwang i have to agree, the delay in sound is due to the distance that the viewer is recording this at, every 3 or so seconds between the light and the sound = a mile in distance give or take, so they had to be a good distance from the show for that kind of delay

can you feel the difference between 36" in 2:21 and 48" in 3:50.. where the last shell exploded louder than 36" shell..

Devlin Dreadwood It's actually closer to 5 seconds. I haven't done the math in a while, but I want to say its 4.8 seconds per mile.
