Noob Trucker in the UK, bringing other new drivers the heads up on what its really like as a new driver. @Trucker jay in the UK the adapter is what you call an European adapter so you can plug it into a house in Europe
Because they run on different plug sockets

god how things have changed my first cab tv was a b&w 10 inch screen that was as heavy as hell and 4 channels yes lads b4 channel 5 was even thought about

My August DA100D failed yesterday. The TV has terminally failed after 4 years of light use (Used for maybe 5 hours a day for 4 days then not used again for 4 days). Won't switch on and when it finally does it fails after 3 seconds with all buttons unresponsive. This is planned obsolescence. I do not believe they cannot make an LCD TV that will last for several years. I have an old 14'' transistor TV from the 70s/80s and it still works perfectly. I'm gutted (especially having not received a pay rise for 3 decades). It is manufacturers like this who short change all of us and who are running this planet and its dwindling resources into the ground :(

Yes you can pick up channels, and It has an hdmi in and an AV in so providing the dvd player had any of those connections then it would be fine. You can connect anything through those connections and use the tv as you would a normal TV, you can use game consoles etc also
