I love this tutorial. I have hooded eyes and I always try to squeeze the crease color in with the transition color, it just didn't look good. Thanks for giving us that tip of just putting the crease color on the outer v. I will definitely try this technique.

New sub here. I’ve been binge watching videos, the beginners ones in particular. During the lockdown I TRIED to start wearing makeup and it was a disaster! I would try to follow the tutorials and my face ended up having all the donts😩! I always wondered why my eye shadow looked funny? It looked like I rubbed my eyes hooded eyes and smudged it onto my face. My fountain looked ashy, my contouring was harsh, my eye brows were too dark and looked like I drew them on with a sharpie. I gave up on trying to learn but when Ale Jay popped up in my recommended it inspired me to try again. I’m still a newb but my makeup application has improved significantly. These tutorials are so technical (for me at least) and explain why and how. I’m loving this channel.

I love extra eyeshadow looks but I stopped doing them because I feel demotivated at how after soo much work done for it not to be visible when I open my eyes or it to be hidden by the lashes 💔.

This is such a helpful video for an easy eye look, thank you! I’ve been watching so many tutorials but sometimes I don’t want to do a cut crease or something that takes an hour lol Our eyes are very similar shape/size so this makes it super easy for me!

I've been watching all your eyeshadow videos today and trying them and once I open my eyes the eyeshadow transfers to the hood and messes it up. I'll try this one next and hope for the best
I don't know if you have this video already but can you do one about how to choose/mix eyeshadow colors for work or everyday wear (neutral look). Also one using bright colors.
I have a lot and love Morphe brushes! But I must say that Sigma has some smaller brushes for us girls with hooded eyes! And they're perfect! And accurate and precise! Rephr has a few also! Just in case ya didn't know. 😘

What did you do with your eyebrows
I have hooded eye lids that almost sit on my eye lashes. I don't feel that you eyes are that hooded. Bye the way you look beautiful. I love your hair color. It brightens up your face.

Some of the brushes are hard to find or no longer available. It would help to know the name or type of brush to find an equivalent brush in case a person already has an equivalent one on hand from a different brand. I tried the shop links to the brushes, but none of them no longer work, likely given the passage of time.

I have hooded eyes that are also small. I think they require an additional level of special tips. 🥴
