    I don't agree with your last statement - Liptovsky Mikulas was a very nice place to stay at. We booked a quite cheap but very new hotel in the city center, and had amazing night walks and amazing food at the Restaurant A La Pizza Taverna. Great video btw, but Liptovsky Mikulas is truly worth checking out :)

      Yes, it’s just my personal opinion :) Just felt like Mikulas is miles away from that sharm you can find in Alpine villages. It just depends on what your expectations are… :)

    • @rdaugiala

      I shot video in mid february. But Jasna is quite crowded all main season long. A lot of tourists from Poland, Baltic states, because it’s the nearest ski resort by car to them (excluding the mini ski areas). If you can get early and by first on slopes, then you can catch some freedom. Some lifts are not crowded. Red slopes are less crowded, All parking lots fill up very quickly in the morning.. :/

    Šaunus video! Net ir dabar, kai daug mažiau vienų kaimynų atvažiuoja, Jasnoje eilės vasario viduryje? Kaip tik galvojome per vaikų atostogas (vasario 11-18) varyti su visa šeima. Bet dabar susimėtėme... Gal geriau Alpės kovo pabaigoje - balandžio pradžioje? O neteko pačiam kituose Slovakijos regionuose slidinėti? Gal yra koks nedidelis, kur mažiau žmonių būna?

    • @rdaugiala
      @rdaugiala  Před rokem +2

      Labai daug iš Lietuvos slidininkų Jasnoj, čekai, lenkai, slovakai, tikrai bus daug žmonių. Alpės visada geriau, čia tik kainos ir atstumo klausimas. Nors nemačiau kurortų kur būtų mažai žmonių. Tik geriau jie išsiskaido alpėse, galima rast erdvės. Dėl kovo ir vėliau, tai rinktis aukštesnius kurortus reiktų, tokie kaip kitzbuchel, skiwelt, zell am see ir kiti kur 2000 m trasu apacioj labai susivelia sniegas jau per pietus, nes geras pliusas stovi. Nebent saltas pavasaris. Tai giliau į Austrija, Italija. Aš daugiausiai Prancūzijos išmaišęs, Slovakijos nžn nieko daugiau. Maži kurortai keliom dienom arba mokintis, su vaikais.. Jei nerūpi su slydimo technika padirbėt iš Alpių geresni įspūdžiai būna, gražesni kaimukai, servisas, daugiau kalnų šarmo.

      @@rdaugiala Ačiū už atsakymą. Prieš 25 metus slidinėti pradėjau ir vienu momentu labai daug slidinėjau (po 5-8 kartus per sezoną) Austrijoje, Italijoje, Šveicarijoje, Prancūzijoje ir Slovakijoje. Bet paskui gyvenimas pakoregavo viską ir buvo kokių 10 metų pertrauka. Dabar sveikata turputį geresnė, tai noriu mažiausią dukrą nuvežti pirmą kartą į kalnus - gal užsikabliuos :). Aišku, tada trauksim į Austriją arba Italiją. Nebent matysis, kad ir Slovakijoje yra sniego (tiesiog per dieną susipakavai ir nulėkiai savaitei - tuo Slovakija patogi). Kažkuriais metais kovo pabaigoje Chopake turėjau superinę slidinėjimo savaitę - sniego nerealus kiekis, oras nuostabus, o žmonių 0.

      Sveiki, jei zali tai bus ir del trasu neaptogu. Reiktu paziuret didesni kurorta, kad nuo rytinio keltuvo grizt butu melyna trasa ir seip susijungianciu melynu trasu daugiau. Tada jau ta malonuma pajausit. Begale tu kurortu, kas bebutu Pranzucija, Austrija, Italija visur smagu didesniuose kur aukstis geras. Bandykit is artimiausiu Austrijoj pradzioj paziuret "St. Anton", "Kitzbuhel" koki ar pan., skirsis nuo Slovakijos, Lenkijos ar Cekijos labai, nors aukstis nera didelis. O didziausias kaifas visokios Val Gardena Italijoj, 3 sleniai Prancuzijoj, tarkim Bad Gastein Austrijoj nerealiausia gal Europoj raudona trasa, kitur gal naktinis gyvenimas. As pats 3 sleniuose stojaus ant slidziu, brangu aisku, bet ten Krusavelyje "poniu trasos" vadinamos superines liux zaliems. Cia vieno atsakymo nebus kur vaziuot ;)

      What a rip-off.
      Bad sow(all over Europe I get it) but still.. here was bad.
      The ski area was overcrowded, they charge for the normal ski pass and to have a "fast pass" so you can skip the line... So they make the normal experience horrible for everyone and capitalize on this "special" mode.
      I paid the ski pass online and it was still more expensive than some very good areas in Austria if paid online too...
      The snow was really bad...
      Did I say that the snow was bad? Yes it was really bad. The only "okish" slope was the one in the south I think it was "Black 32" but still a bit icy... Everything else was overcrowded and with bad snow.
      "Live and learn" that's my moto

      @@jojocluddy2534end of March is tricky as most ski Resorts close in the beginning of April, this year has been particulary tricky for good snow although there was new snow coming last week...
      End of March I would shoot for one of the Glaciers, they are open until May.
      Stubai Glacier, Pitztaler Glacier or Sölden will definitely have good conditions and they are big enough, being Sölden the biggest ski area although only the glacier part might be open.. I Personally like Pitztaler it is smaller than the others but normally is less crowded.
