Barbers have to be patient when cutting kids hair especially cutting toddlers or 2 year olds first haircut. Many barbers hate it and no longer offer kids cuts, while many others offer the service they charge the same as adult prices and with good cause. young kids have smaller heads that are constantly moving and the texture is a very difficult at times. Lol. Most people think their child can get the same cut as them. I'm getting frustrated just watching this. I'm getting older and can't get out the way when kids move. This is a tough one. I'm showing this video to the parents that think I don't know what I'm talking about when they say "he sits still"

Parents that want unrealistic haircuts on toddlers are ridiculous.... a few side notes, when a parent has to hold their kid, put a cape around them as well.. the tools you use on kids should be different then the ones you use on adults.. fx3 blades are way to sharp on the edges to use on kids ... and lastly, the journey of a barber, one day your getting them ready for kindergarten, the next graduation... its truly a journey... regardless of your struggles with him sitting still you knocked it out the park!!! The cut looks amazing 👏... just my thoughts after barbering 34 years... as always, I appreciate your video...💈💪

With a kids haircut you only have 5-10 minutes of chill was after that it goes down hill. That’s why I try to accomplish as much as possible within the first few minutes.

In my experience it's the noise of the clippers that freaks some kids out, so I usually resort to the scissors 🙈
My cousin gave me the same speech. He begged me talking about ‘my son really chill’ ‘he not gon move’ 🤦🏿. If I let yo kid watch coca melon and he still moving and it’s been a hour chasing him for a cut… yea bro y’all gotta go 😂

What I like to do with kids is I have mom or dad sit with them, and I put a cape on both the kid and parent so the parent won’t be stuck with hair on them ! If the kid is calm enough tho I’ll just sit then on the booster and we’re good to go
