I loved 🥰 Matt! I watch him on 20/20. As a retired Louisville metro homicide detective and Crimes Against Children detective, it’s great that Matt was able to put into perspective what we as the police and prosecutors do to try to get justice for our victims. The majority of us care and try to do the best job we can! But I’m glad I’m retired now and all I have to worry about is when the next JS Podcast is bc I love 💕 you Heather!

I don't understand why people feel a need to correct entertainment; Heather McDonald is a comedian that takes inspiration from pop culture and other notorious topics to produce an entertaining and fun podcast episode to listen to and enjoy and not a news outlet. Entertainment is an art form so let the artist do their art cuz they don't need the unsolicited notes.
It’s all about the delivery, imo- sometimes I’m very grateful when people correct interviewers/podcasters in the comments (POLITELY) because often times it’s info I wasn’t privy to/info that’s actually important to the story. But you’re right, when it’s someone being snotty/a Karen just to ‘one up’ the host, it comes off as obnoxious and unnecessary.

Why are we dissecting Sumner when Adam is the one who is married?....."Other women came forward" regarding Adam Levine and is inappropriate behavior. It's more like a small village came forward. I can't believe how many women have come forward. Adam appears to have an addiction. How can his wife stay when there is no trust?
We don’t know what their situation really is. I’d be surprised if the wife didn’t have her own demons. Maybe they just accept each other’s flaws.

I am a retired RN. I agree, we make good jurors. We have seen it ALL. We see the drug seekers, the malingerers, the victims and perpetrators, the drunks, the demanding, the entitled, the grateful, the stoic, the intelligent, the dumb, the deranged, the blood, the guts, pain and death. I once served on a Grand Jury. I highly recommend the experience. Another thing that resonated with me, what Matt Murphy said about “sympathy withdrawals” and burn out. One of the best coping skills you need is to think with your head, and not your heart. You are of no use to anyone if you let your emotions rule. Treat everyone with kindness and respect, but check your sympathy at the door. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
