3 Tips to Improve Your Angle Flying | How to Skydive

- I was recently invited to another angle camp and learned three big tips that improved my flying to a level where I am competent and confident! I thought I would share with you all so that maybe you can improve as well.
As with any advice given on this channel, take it to an instructor or coach and fly with someone better than you. The best way to learn is by flying with an experienced coach so they can watch and debrief your body position and individual issues. You can't get better at skydiving by just watching videos just like you can't get be a better boyfriend/girlfriend by watching romcoms.
Thanks to Wild Nomads for the organizing / wild.nomads
and to Skydive Sebastian for running an awesome DZ with opportunities to learn every weekend. Not to mention that view!
And a big thanks to Brad, Jackie, and Mason for flying together. This is what it's all about!

I'm portuguese skydiver, thanks for the tips 👌 it improved my angle flying. You have an awesome DZ blue skies
Really good video man. Can’t wait to start working on angles. Brad is super fun to fly with. I need to get up in the sky with him not just in the tunnel. Keep at it dude you’re crushing it 👊🏼
Thanks I’m glad you like the video. Brad was a lot of fun to fly with and gave individualized tips that had everyone crushing it by the end of the day. 👊🏻
Thanks for the tips Perndog! I'll remember these and put it to use when I start angle flying 🤙🏻
Yay!! A awesome angle flying video. It’s been a while since your last angle flying video.
Yep it was an awesome day
Thanks alot for the video and tips. I appreciate the format of the video which makes it easier to understand what exactly is to be done with the feet, shoulders and body to have the maximum effect.
Thanks Ahmad I'm glad you got some value out of the video
Gave you a like, as always. Thanks so much for more great tips and the view there at Skydive Sebastian is soooo beautiful! Can’t wait to see it again in 2 weeks! Keep up the good work! 👏🏼
Thanks Dena glad you like the video. Are you coming to the Veterans Day Boogie? We will be there on Sunday.
PernDog absolutely. 🙂 Already got my flight booked and had already bought my attendance ticket. I will be getting there about 2pm Saturday to the dz. I plan on staying until Sunday, so see you then! 😊
dude!!! soo dope! love the angle progression youve had so far! keep it uppp!!!!!
Thanks man this took a lot of work and multiple coaching sessions to finally dial it in. I’m looking forward to being able to progress even more
Really good video I know I would have appreciated having more instructional type videos like this when I started learning
Thanks I appreciate it. I just have a passion for video and the easiest way to make a video every week is document what I’m doing/learning. It’s been a trip seeing that people actually like the content!
Great video thanks for sharing!
Knocked out canopy course this week (at 60 jumps total now) this kind of flying looks so fun but I'm still struggling with all the basics.
Hope to jump with you one day!
Skydiving is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Like you can get cleared solo within 7 jumps, but real progression on basic skills takes time and experience. It’s really humbling to see people who can fly extremely well taking the time to fly with those of us with basic skills -I try to pay it forward as much as possible. Would love to hit up some jumps sometime 👊🏻
Cheers bro! great tips and im stoked you have a good coach! i asked my mate for some tips and he just said "Na CBF teaching you" so i have been trying to sus it myself, this helps heaps!
Yeah we are fortunate to have some real professionals in and out of Sebastian. We didn’t really have that in Colorado so I try to take advantage as much as I can!
Sick
Great vid Pern. Very helpful! Blue skies
Thanks
Not just great skydiving tips but a great video production as well!
Thanks David I really enjoy making videos so it means a lot 👊🏻
Real adrelanine...wow!
I am going to Sebastian in 2 weeks for an angle camp. Very excited! Thanks for the tips!
Is that with Leslie and Dan this weekend? I'll be there taking a canopy course - say hi if you run into me!
@@PernDog yes with Leslie. See you this weekend
Awesome, fun watching. I believe I've done my intro to angle fly now. Now I just need a plane, piolet, up today rig, some altitude, & a place to land. 😂😂😂
Lol I know a guy 👍🏻
@@PernDog lol 🤣 hook me up ;)
Dude I just got my A licence! What's your best advice as to what to do moving forwards!?
Have fun and keep learning. You get an A license after 25 jumps but getting to this level of angle flying took at least 40 jumps. And I’m by far still a beginner at 300 jumps.
Take some canopy courses and sign up for rookie camps when you get the chance. Stay humble and stay safe! Congrats
A little tunnel never hurts too!
