Azizi Saheb, spying on someone is illegal unless you are authorised to do so. Unfortunately British born Pakistanies have committed unthinkable crimes and the whole community is suffering. People come here on visitors visa or student visa and disappear in thin air. 15 Police officers were here on State funded training, all of them disappeared. There is one Inspector from Gujranwala who works for local butchers. He got his visa based on long stay in the country but still works in the butcher shop. I visited the shop and paid him cash, he was shocked when I said "Bhai Saheb, paisey till mai dal dena, rishwat samajkey jaib mai nai " :) Illegal migrants have no life, no access to work, public funds or healthcare. They live in constant fear of getting deported. What is the point of leaving your home country? Yes the currency is very strong but Pounds don't grown on trees. Money plant is just a name. :) To work in the UK, your degree and qualifications come 2nd, first you need to have full work permit. I met a ship captain who remained here for love. He was waiting for his kids outside school. Suited and booted, well groomed but tears in his eyes. I dared to ask him what was the issue, is there anything I could do? He looked at me and said, "Bhai, meri biwi roz chapaloon se marti hai" o'tteri :)
Ship captain, I am sure he could earn more money in Pakistan. Anyway, I had to leave his sight in case his wife comes and attacks me too.
Our Pakistani doctors come here to work. Beside the degree, they have to pass a test, most of them fail and never try again. They just start doing taxi. How frustrating it is for a doctor to carry drunken people, take them to clubs and bars and pick them at 4:00 am?
Britain always welcomes talented and higher educated individuals who play a positive role in the society. I have seen Islam in Pakistan but not Muslims. United Kingdom is a Christian country but there are Muslims everywhere, they show reflection of Prophet Muhammed's (Peace and blessings be upon him) teachings.
Although I am British citizen but miss Pakistan a lot. Insha Allah things will improve and we will all return to our homeland.
