This should start a new mini series called “taking KOMs.” I would love to see it. It’s a lot of work though.
If this video does well…we might just have to 😉
Oh you mean tacklingt the 100KM/h uphill koms which are cheated everywhere? Lol i tried to clean up my area and i got my flagging option revoked and cant do it anymore.. Strava has provided no help in dealing with this leaderboard cheating and crap.. KOMs are kinda dead.
That's Phil Gaimon's thing 🤔
@@paulemilecolas7982 different people different story to tell. I will keep watching both!
Calling Phil Gaimon!
Tyler's BPM is insane.
My max is 215BPM, so not really
@@MattQ1987it’s about how he can sustain on such high BPM and still pump more power at the end
Seeing Tyler’s heart rate pinned 195+ for that long was WILD. Dude dug DEEEP.
Stoked to see how you do this weekend at Tour de bloom!
The quality in these videos with the tracker/chase car, very appreciated.
Thank you!!
490W for 8 minutes!!! Insane.
Those sustained watts 😯, those bpms 😱! Def impressive 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Nice vid! And thanks for the shout! I'll hopefully have some new videos out soon once my health is back on track.
I feel like I can almost hear a tingle of asthma in Tyler breathing. Ya’ll killed it
Flexing all the editing skills, well done.
Great work both, unreal Tyler knocking off 40 seconds
Right???
Amazing effort by Tyler! This is one of my favorite videos you've done so far! Nice job!
That normalized power... CRAZY
Tremendous riding! Even an e-bike would have trouble climbing these hills.
Great video guy! Insane numbers! Congrats TW! Great car video angles! Big things coming!!
Thank you!!
Unreal. That is so amazing. Crongrat Tyler!
He’s built different 😂
That was a superman effort. 🦸♂️ 💪🏆
One of the best Videos!! This was amazing😍
Thank you!
The BPM tells a lot. Some are just built differently! Strong effort 🤙
With the overlay: the only issue I find is that the power is difficult to see, something more colourful or rainbow would be better.
Edit: like how Tyler cam has, as yours is gray
what's the software for the overlays?
@@CiclismoPeba custom software i think he said
I need to try this guys 😅😊
Yeah this was definitely one of the more entertaining videos. Hearing how hard Tyler was breathing at the end and watching the heart rate at the same time was very suspenseful and cool to watch.
OMG what an effort!!! HUGE!!!!!!!
KOM and segment-videos are always fun! Hill or not. I love Phil Gaimons and VCs KOM-videos! :D
Love the video!
Nice work EJ!!!
Thanks dude!!!
The bpm and the breathing. Holy cow 💀
Tyler is world class no joke
nice segment for Michael Woods
I got muscle fever after the video. Huge respect, huge stamina!
you think your hrm just called it quits here? ive seen mine go way down like this on hard trainer efforts where im sweating a ton as well. not sure what you use and what tyler uses to keep it accurate up at 190+ bpm
Damn what a beast
Insane!!!
✊🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Legend says, Tyler cooks eggs in the morning with straight up diesel.
Yes he does
When you say tyler could smell blood was that because you was coughing it up 😂 What a brutal climb great effort. Imagine living on that hill 😮
Awesome video the CAR DASH CAM WAS GREAT!!
Shoutout Alyssa!
@@Ejstrainingcamp 🙌🏽
That is a awesome video
Epic climb!
Parts of sunshine canyon in the foothills of Boulder would be top 3 steepest.
As a 93-95kg guy in reasonable shape.. this made me feel ill :P
Ill pop out for a nice flat & fast ride tomorrow i think....
Beast mode 😂
eZ for tyler! that's what you get when you have experience racing for a pro conti team! wonder what his time would be if he had done this when he was racing for them....
What crank arm length and gearing was used?
Yup, I would’ve had a heart attack
what camera use?
amazing shot ❤
what camera si that?
amazing shot
Downhill Racing would be dope! Would love to see it, maybe a collab with SAFA?
Time for Alviso my friend
Jamison creek could be a cool climb to try to pr
Struggling up the hill yet saying "Hello". Nice!✌

Waaww. Well done guys. The both of you did well. It would be nice to have your specs as well. Is Tyler riding a Sworks sl7 ?
He’s riding a venge!
@@Ejstrainingcamp that’s even more impressive!! You’re killing me because I also have a venge. So, I’ve got No excuse on steep climb now 🤣🤣😅😅. Thanks for your answer! You’ve won a follower. Can’t wait to watch other epic climbs. And one more time, well done to the both of you !
lol Tyler Williams is doing it on a Venge as well!
He’s crazy!
Yessir!!!
The last thing we need to know to be as strong as Tyler: What did he listen to during the climb?
KUDOS! That looks horrific
What kind of camera do you use on the rear of your bike?
A GoPro 👍
Tyler really measured his effort well. Really hard to do when the gradient is all over the place and the worst coming is at the finish. E.J. on the other hand, went way too deep way too early and the power and heartrate fell off a cliff at the end. I guess experience really is a thing, huh?
Love the video! Do you think you went too hard at the start (to try and hold of Tyler) or is that climb just that crazy that you had to abort the effort?
A mix of both for sure 😂
You really need to race norcal again
brutal
Quit saying it’s not possible without us. It’s actually more not possible without you! (did I say that right?) We are here because we are enjoying your content that you’re providing. So keep it up!
❤️
Just getting up that climb is no mean feat, let alone doing it at speed.
👏👏👏
Your hr monitor seems to be faulty. When you were "cracking" your hr went down to around 130bpn
wow. he built different
I don’t think your HRM was working. Or your HR was going down as gradient went up 😂
Calling Andy Feather
Imagine watching this without headphones try to explain that 😅
😂😂😂
What happened to your HR when you cracked? it dropped well before you stopped ... unless it's just not synced up quite right? Just odd, you would expect it to be spiking.
Lets get andrew feather on this climb now.
💯
Either your heart rate monitor is messed up or you must go check with a cardiologist. 130-140 bpm at full effort?
What happened in 8:51, is it accurate? The HR went down to 128
Would be nice if you can get Mitch and Phil Gaimon to come together in the fall and all 4 of you ride it
Watched 7 secs and clicked like for the sake not quitting.
Legend!
ive done 18km at 20% avg here in acuador going up to almost 5000m above sea lvl. the guys climing over here in ecuador and colombia would smash that climb easy hahaha
where, it must be hardest ever climb on Earth
@@MestTheBest going up to the first camp at cayambe volcano.
@@MestTheBest there is one 200m downhill and one 200m flat ish section. rest is almost always above 13% and hits upto 29%
@@MestTheBest from ibarra you gotta do about 50km with about 1000m of climbing before you get to cayambe then you go to the volcano. then ofcourse you gotta go back to ibarra so thats another 50km after coming down with another 600m.
@@MestTheBest all of this above 2000m sea lvl
No one tell Andrew Feather about this climb
Get your heart rate monitor sorted man, how is it you're pushing 470 watts halfway through the effort and your bpm drops into the mid 120s 😂
wheres the polygon
This was filmed before 👍
I don’t think your HR is always tracking accurately
give us HR in HRmax percentage... absolute numbers mean nothing....
Can any engineers give me the lowdown on how big of a pump is needed to get water and whatnot up to those houses on the top of the hill?
No pump needed
Pumps essentially add energy to the water so to give a more precise answer we would need to know what the existing pressure ranges are at the bottom of the hill. You have friction and minor losses through the water main that you would have to consider as well. I know nothing about the area but what’s more likely is that they pump into a tank at the top of the hill and then gravity feed the houses off of a tank.
Number of actual salaried, professional riders in this video = 0. Pretty lame to keep trying to piggyback on this.
Pretty sure Tyler Williams has been collecting salary as a bike racer for quite a few years.
You keep referring to the term pros in your videos. Real pros are racing in Europe not rolling around California. Amateur is probably more appropriate
Being a pro in California is more about vibes than being on a pro team or having results
@@Eramsay121 how Californian. Creating it’s own facts 🤣🤣
