- When an off book operation goes awry for a couple X-Factor members, the X-Men are called in to bring them home. Of course, they have to deal with a little thing called Alpha Flight first.

@@SkunkLifeMediaDude killed it as Wolverine. He deserves a compliment like you gave Cyclops voice actor. In fact in my opinion he gave the best performance outside of Professor X and Rogue. Bishop also sounded like Bishop.

Very nice! The voice cast was spectacular. Been a long while since anyone has done some X-Action in the stop motion community. With all the new X related Marvel Legends released the past few years I find that kind of surprising... Great video!

and yeah I haven't seen much X-material outside of Capt. McKay Random's series (which I still wish he would have finished) DG's Justice League/Avengers crossover one, but that pretty much just had wolverine and deadpool, but not a real dedicated team one from anyone. Most of the good animators are still rehashing Infinity War/Endgame stuff, which is all good, but I'm kinda over it at this point.
Had thought about an Alpha Flight series, just to do something other people were not, but after working with the figures in this and how derpy some of them were, it soured me on it. The ankles on some of the figures, esp the females are a mother #^$&$*( to get to stand at times.
I have an X-Force series I started plotting so I might do that, but I am torn with the MCU Cable of whether to do it with the comic figures or work up some MCU concept custom versions of X-Force and use the Brolin Cable and Zazie Domino.
@@SkunkLifeMedia OK so I thought maybe I was the only one... So I completely get it, doing rehashes, re-imaginings, and recreations of what is/was out recently gets views... I completely get that, and for the most part I still watch them (good animation is good animation).... But I really enjoy and appreciate original stories! @@SkunkLifeMedia Here's a suggestion, you could mix and match... Use MCU here, Comic there, etc and combine them into "your" X-Force... I like the idea of Cable being big, but Brolin's mug is bad ass so maybe a hybrid custom there would be awesome.

Loved it! Got me hooked, and hopefully you'll do more with the storyline. Shocked that both Aurora and Northstar were the same person???
Wolverine is a bit too growly. But I got used to it. However, every time there was a pause from him, and he came back to a speaking part, it took me out of the moment a tiny bit. Other than that, every character was pretty much great. Rogue was less of a Southern Belle, but you still heard that twang. Overall this was a fantastic group effort! More more more!
Thanks for the good word. I have plans for more animations, but likely not much from Alpha Flight. By the end of this I hated working with the figures for Aurora and Snowbird and Sasquatch, the BAF got stupid loose in all his joints for whatever reason. Not sure why since he was sitting on my shelf until I used him for this but ah well.
Might have more X-goodness with X-Force. You can check my other series, The Survivors. It uses Marvel and DC characters in one combined universe.
And I have Transformers stuff on the channel and more coming as well.
@@SkunkLifeMedia while Alpha Flight is a personal favorite of mine, I get how those figures would be rough to work with. I did enjoy the others during their moments, and the mention of Aurora's D.I.D. slipping through. You did these characters justice, and the voice actors did a very good job becoming them.
@@Croxby1 Appreciate it. As I said to Datalynx earlier, I definitely wanted to do characters that don't get much shine when it comes to stop motion (or heck, really anything as far as AF is concerned), so I'm glad to have done right by a genuine fan of them.

I have an elseworlds sort of Avengers short I may get to at some point. A lotta folks do Avengers in some variety, so Im looking at some other ideas. X-Force for sure is coming. Maybe some X-Factor and a short with the Pryde of the X-Men squad (complete with an Australian Wolverine VA)

Bro this needs a part two, this made me get the alpha flight set
Shoot, bro this nearly didn't have a completed part one, lol. I had actually wanted to spin this forward into an Alpha Flight series as I am a huge fan of doing new stuff, not just constant IW/EG retreads, but after working with these figures for this and the derpyness of the Alpha Flight figures, I was like, nope. Cancelled that idea.
Might do X-Factor or X-Force as I started planning that. Thought about doing an MCU concept designed X-Force since I love the Brolin Cable figure, but I will probably keep it comic book so I don't have to make more custom figures.

I wish I knew how to make stop motion, I would be making so many videos.
Can you do a sequel where X-Men teamup with batman and mighty morphin power rangers to fight against Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Goldar, Scorpina, magneto, mystique, and the new monster?
Only sequel I was thinking out of this was an Alpha Flight one, but after messing with the figures to do this one I quickly lost interest giving how fiddly and gummy some of the figures were.
contemplated some X-Factor animations, still might.
Looking at some more Ranger related ideas of mine.

Great movie. Too bad Snowbird didn’t get in on the fight. 😅
Honestly thought about it, but by the end of things I was so tired of the bummy ass figures that Alpha Flight had. The female buck Hasbro was using for them was beyond outdated and degraded with gummy joints, especially the lower legs and knees. So it made it frustrating to try and work with them. I imagine in a few years there will be a new boxed set or a new frustratingly slow trickle of redone figures on the new female bodies they are using. I might try to do some customs to update them myself in the meantime, since the cost of the figures by then, may have already priced me out of collecting.
