Humans having pineal glands notwithstanding (the "Third Eye" as it were), chickens are also carnivorous. My friends have chickens. Like the T-Rex from which they've evolved, they'll tear limb from limb and consume any stray field mouse making a go at crossing their chicken yard...

Most likely the pineal gland one as most vertebrate animals have one. It's not exclusive to just chickens.

Chickens can do that with their heads, but we can do that with our eyes, which is much more useful. Also chickens can see so far around their head because of how their eyes are positioned ( along with most prey animals) but the trade off is depth perception. They are tetrachromats, and so are some people! Chickens are cool. They love you and know your face❤🐔

Yeah, that’s why you never feed chicken meat scraps to them. Feed them any other food leftovers and they’ll be fine, but feed them the meat of other chickens and they’ll develop a taste for it.
Oh, and if that’s not creepy enough, my dad has seen a chicken apparently trying to mate with another one that was dead on at least one occasion. That’s right, they can be necrophiliacs when they’re not being cannibals.

I guess because colour is just how the human brain interprets different wavelengths of light, so chickens must be able to split the wavelengths into more categories/combinations, which we can't even imagine
