There is a tendency to fog the windshield otherwise when water is sprayed. Please don't think you can cool the ambient air without using energy. So the AC compressor works and it draws the power to cool the air. There is no magic in this. It rather has to be highlighted as a smart safety feature that the i20 has.
Please make a video on your i20, tank to tank mileage test. . . petrol pump pe full petrol daalke 100 km drive kijiye, then fir petrol full kijiye, or dikhaiye average. . .
