There’s a lot more to this life than a “prestigious” job and a big bank account. I work as a waiter, soon bartender, and I’m a paralegal. People ask what I like more. It’s nice helping people at a law office but there’s something nice about recommending good food and knowing people enjoy it

It doesn’t even matter what they earn anyway. If they enjoy their job and don’t care about being a millionaire then good for them. Everyone appreciates people in food and drink service.
His salary isnt ordinary.. he either owns part of the place, serving drinks to mostly rich ppl or his value lies in relations with rich regular customers. What they pay him the business is likely to reap back 2x to 3x revenue.

Being out of the liquor industry i totally forgot how valuable and expensive that pappy bottle goes for, remember the lines people will make outside our store to get it at retail price and having costumers tell me how much they can resale the bottle for, kinda unfortunate to think of reselling a bottle like that, remember i was gifted a bottle of blantons and i sat with that bottle for 3 years till I finally popped it open, probably one of the best whiskeys Ive ever had
