Hey y'all! I'm going LIVE after this premiere on my Mr. Crafty Pants channel! Hope to see ya there! 😃 czcams.com/video/reP0gSKiFpU/video.html
As someone who has done this before and has worked with bleaching. One tip I am going to tell you is that when you use the water and peroxide bath....use DISTILLED water! reason being is that city water is treated with chlorine gas and that chlorine is present in city water...The city water can interact with the bleaching and continue the bleaching. Also, another tip is to use white vinyl as your stencil.....some vinyls have a residual dye from the manufacturing process and that dye can leech out from the bleaching.
Another tip is to LIGHTLY warm the vinyl up with a heat gun before pressing it onto the screen frame....the heat will warm up the adhesive and give the vinyl a better bond to the screen....that bleach gel can seep under the edges of the stencil if its not tightly sealed and you will end up with bleed outs.
AFTER you do the peroxide and water bath.....re-bath it with straight distilled water. Doing the second bath will get rid of any remaining bleach gel. After the second bath.....wash in cold water /cold rinse with no detergent or fab softener and you will have a full bleach free garment.
Would using 100% cotton with bleach create holes? Possibly use 65% polyester be better? Love this concept though. Thanks for the tips.
@@btiny36 100% Cotton might create holes, 65% Polyester would be better.
WOW! thank you so much for the input! Such great tips! ✌️

Thank you for sharing!! 💓
Wonderful Michael loved this❤️
Wonderful idea thanks for sharing will be trying this for sure
Amazing video, You can also do the same on metal but instead of bleach. You can use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, regular white vinegar, and 1/2 table spoon of salt and it will leave a nice rust effect on the metal.
Loved this video can't wait to try it out. Thank you...
So creative. Came out awesome ❤
"You do you boo!" Lol
Wow….love it ♥️
I'm hooked!! Going to get the screen printing frame now!!! Oh, and the toilet cleaner. How amazing this could be to make old school designs... But easier!!

That was really cool
Michael, I used StarCraft vinyl for the first time and I'm obsessed! Thank you!
Too cute.
I use old HTV backing for things like this. Not as tacky, and works on delicate things like screen or poster board
Love love this.....
Many years ago I had a little Screen Printing Shop out of my garage doing all the local touristy stuff here in Northern Nevada I stink that was so cool what you just did
OG replay. Thanks for teaching so many different techniques.

SHMOXD I love his creativity and his channel! And I loved your video thank you for expanding my uses for my circuit to help grow my business !
My daughter has to wear dark shirts at school, can’t wait to try this for her.

I always wondered how screen printing worked.
It will go on my cricut bucket list
This isn't propper screen printing trust me I used to print for a small company doing t shirts aprons t towels and various other cloths by the meter and also worked at another company printing road cones and signs
Wheww “LIKE SO”
Hi Michael thank you for this tutorial I want to try this now. You're awesome I joined your yearly membership recently but I haven't been on it so would you let me know how I get into the site so I use it thank you for your time
Gayle
Way way too cool. Is there a way to make the stencil reusable?
Fast forward in real life would be awesome!!
going to miss it at a award ceremony for my son...
Yesi thought of this kinda i was just going to paint it on with bleach tho not use a screen
Great video. I'll have to give it a try some time. Also, just a little FYI, Shmoxd is pronounced like mood, but with a Sh sound.
Could we use this technique to then sublimate onto the bleach? Say we bleach an outline and then fill with sublimation?
Great video as always. Could you just place the vinyl directly onto the shirt and squeegee without the screen?
Do you have the design for how you did the top of you’re circuit
How many shirts can you do before having to use a new piece of vinyl?
What keeps the frame from shifting!
I have trouble with my print and cut. Tried to calibrate my circuit explorer. It still is not coming out right. Please help mr. crafty pants
why not cut an asatate sheet?
Bowl cleaner has other corrosives in it including bleach. Did it degrade your screen?

@@craftynet wow thank you!!!
😳🤯
what is the bathroom cleaner called
Its just Clorox toilet bowl cleaner with bleach 🤩 go.crafty.net/bleach
You definitely want to cover your mat with something because over time that bleach is going to literally eat it up. By the way... We've been doing this for about 10 years 😉😅.
Does anyone have an old YuDo? I kept mine JUST So I would continue to have an easy to use screen printing frame. I don't think you can even get the inks anymore but I spent a lot of money on that stuff back in the day and couldn't see just tossing it. I think I've got six screens and those things aren't cheap 🤨. I've been using it with my Cricut/Silhouette to screen print for years now.
pronounced shmood :) x
Mixing bleach and peroxide is a bad idea. You should rinse the shirt before using the peroxide. The toilet bowl cleaner is going to shorten the life of the screen.
@shmoxd channel is pronounced "Shmood" the X Is an O I love love love his channel!!
Awesome!
