    FYI the company recommends 70% or 91% isopropyl alcohol. You can use 99%, but the flame is much hotter and burns quicker

    I actually have one of these and they are quite cool. Very heavy, about 5"- 6" tall and they are cool for s'mores inside. They're on the pricey side, about $100, but literally last for years. There are websites online that sell them for $40-$60 if you look. Note: if you have birds, please don't burn this in the same room as them, even if the room is ventilated.

    Isopropyl alcohol actually does produce smoke and soot, so I wouldn't use that to roast marshmallows, but pure ethanol doesn't.

    You think that's the best way to make s'mores? Let me teach you something.
    You've got an oven? You've got a sheet pan? You've got parchment paper? You've got the basics for s'mores (graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate)?
    If the answers to all of these were yes:
    Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C)
    Line your sheet pan with parchment paper.
    Lay out the pan as follows:
    Graham cracker with a marshmallow on top, graham cracker with a piece of chocolate on top, alternating while keeping it an even number to allow for whole s'mores.
    When the oven is ready and your s'more halves are prepped, pop em in for 2-5 minutes. Have the oven light on, you REALLY don't want to overdo it.
    These make the absolute best s'mores ever.

    • @ingamelevi1929
      @ingamelevi1929 Před rokem +1

      Additionally, I'd like to let you know that I only learned this while doing a home showing of The Menu. My roommate didn't know why I was timing my s'mores to be just about the very end of the movie, but he realized quickly enough.

      Use a ceramic tile or something solid that won't burn and place it on top. Make sure it covers the entire opening. It will snuff it out in a second.
