Can we attest the photocopies along with original documents?
No need of Photocopies. Also, MOFA only attests true copies that are notarized and there is no need to get your photocopies attested for the process of Italy.

You can apply on the basis of a Bonafide Certificate (issued from your University) and a Transcript of Records. But you need your Final Transcript and Degree (properly attested) for the Visa Application.
