Really enjoyed the video, i respect the almost perfect cs, i struggle with that the most because most of the matches are ranged.

My average CS this split is 6.3 so I def want to improve on it
the only reason I got such high cs that game is because taliyah was not pressuring at all haha

when would you go ap or ad? and how do you decided?
Always go AD into kassadin and galio as they are anti magic damage champs
Also go AD into high cc or tanky comps bcs you can build tenacity for high cc and bork does % hp dmg which is nice vs tanks, you also have more sustained damage since your autos do a lot so you can finish off a tanky champ with autos.
Also go AD if your comp has too much AP, like when you have AP top and jungle, just like the second game from this video
Otherwise you can go AP

Usually steelcaps or randuins, zhonyas is still good with AD kat and GA and deaths dance are viable

also how are u dealing kind of unplayable matchups like Yasuo? waiting for opportunities and play around ur team? bc most of the trades i take with them is a loss for me. maybe i should just cs safely and maintain high hp.

AD is better in 90% of situations rn so if you like it you can go AD every game
Most matchups are bad with katarina just don’t force trades, farm safely and if you see the enemy make a mistake then you force a trade. You have instant engage so you can engage whenever you want, it is about knowing the right time to do so.
Vs Yasuo there are rarely any windows to trade, but if he has no bone plating up, his passive is not stacked and his windwall is on cd you can engage behind him when he throws out q3 to dodge it because then he will not have stacked it again by the end of the trade, but this is very situational and you will most likely not find this window vs a good Yasuo
Lastly, AD items have massive powerspikes so I think going dorans blade start with AD is bad because you are delaying these really important powerspikes by 450 gold for barely any bonuses…

Yes that's what good about long sword and ig i'd take a refillable too. Might try that later.
That's why i try to last pick as a mid laner and if i see a hell matchup i'd change Kat. Plus they sometimes bring top laners to mid lane too. Once i was clueless against Sion with ap Kat but later on the same matchup i won the lane hard with ad Kat tho. Also Garen and Yasuo laning felt super annoying... Yone should be ok tho!
I think i realise the mistake i was making.... I was forcing so many random bad trades and not waiting for them to burn spells or them being in a bad position and making a mistake. I guess Kat isn't just farm cs stay safe but know when to engage and stay safe. Your comment was helpful really, thank you ❤️
