As someone who was a roadie brought in to help on a WWE load in. It was fascinating as a fan and as a production rigger to see the amount of work that must be done in the space of 10 hours to get a smackdown up and running ready for show time. There’s tech that they use that was specifically made for them that no one else in the production industry other than maybe major artists have in order for stuff like this to work.

This is one of the reasons I love wrestling so much. It's not only the wrestlers that bring us entertainment but all the people who work behind the scenes and make everything happen as well. And they do this live so everything has to be perfectly coordinated, there's no do-overs. It's such a fascinating industry.

When music is pre-recorded, you can program lights in sync with the song. But when it comes to live performance, you need a good performer at the lighting console.

I’ve always loved watching the production guys do their thing at the shows. They move so quick and there’s so many of them. Lots of moving parts to the show that so many fans will never even know.

Yep, unlike the ones that Impact and AEW has. They constantly botch the audio in AEW (mics not working, low entrance theme song quality) no matter how big they're financially backed and the panning between screens (backstage, interviews, replays, video packages) in impact keep fucking up.
Used to be a concert promoter. Sound/production guy let me do lights for a 2 day festival concert. Ive done lights before for small shows but for this particular event, which was bigger.... it was probably one of the funnest things I've ever done. Made me want to have my own sound/production business.

I was at a wwe house show and bought the superstars experience where I met a few wrestlers and walked entrance to the ring and I caught a glimpse of the backstage area and those tech/production guys you have given them credit for keeping the show up and running every week
The trucks are for the guys running which shots they're gonna pick from the cameras, running graphics, stuff like that. The production guys controlling the lights are all in the arena. They run the lights, sound, pyro, etc. There's also people that work up high in the stands that run the spotlights
