Nine suspects shot dead by KZN police

Police in Kwazulu-Natal have killed 9 suspected criminals in a fierce gun battle in Mariannhill. The shootout happened in the early hours of this morning. KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda says the suspects were wanted for several violent crimes. He says in one incident the suspects raped a minor and forced her mother to watch.
