I was an average liberal Indian. But then I read about Islam from Ex-Muslims and Muslim critics.

All of Europe and the US needs to listen to this man! He is absolutely right. People are ignorant of what Islam really is. I was persecuted for 3 years in Vienna, Austria for simply being American and Roman Catholic. I was mugged on the street, threatened to be killed, although I tutored Islamic children for free, and gave clothes and food to needy people.

Certainly I applaud Spencer's work concerning India in this book. As someone who speaks only English and once considered writing a book on jihad in India, I was confounded and disturbed by its enormity. I hope for a multi-volume effort focusing on India alone that can bridge the gap between the enormity of the numbers with the nature of the human suffering that occured to individuals during different Muslim rulers.

I have a friend who's an Egyptian Christian. He tells me to this day when his Muslim countrymen hear his name, they would know he's a Christian and would deny him employment he would otherwise be granted. As far as American politics goes, I consider myself left-leaning but I acknowledge the threat you're describing. My Egyptian Christian friend on the other hand, has a defensive posture towards Israel. Perhaps, this is more nationalistic but it had gotten my attention.

I have a disagreement in just one of the point of views of Mahatma Spencer.
On 1:25:38 wrt the question he says that Muslims have a short sighted political calculation wrt China but I believe that is not totally true. I believe that FEAR is a very effective tool when it comes to controlling muslims. I am from Gujarat and after 2002, fear was instilled within them and not only riots but also the crime rate overall reduced drastically. China knows this and FEAR is what they are using in order to control Muslims within china & the reason Muslims outside China are not speaking anything is not just because of economic benifits provided by China but a major factor is China’s FEAR!

Very complicated. I studied in a Catholic school and have fond memories of my nuns , but there wasn't any attempt at conversion. I am 57 now. The problem is with these new age Evangelists and fakesters who mass convert the vulnerable. These people are given special status , quotas and benefits by the govt. due to the historical ill-treatment by upper caste Hindus. As Christianity claims equality ( not true in India where they retain their caste for marriage etc) they are by law supposed to give up these benefits but don't which deprives the truly deserving Dalit Hindus of their rights.So please DO NOT DONATE to these Evangelists as they are nothing but a money making scam.

In plain words this is just exploitation. Brutal conversions did happen in many places during the 14 & 15th centuries, but not anymore. Since these missionaries don't have any sensible substance to prove that Bible is any better than any other holy book, the only way they can retain their "tithe" paying customers is by constantly brainwashing them on how evil Hinduism is. This is where the problem lies - they spread excessive hatred! And it is the same fictitious literature that floats in the west about Hinduism - surprisingly even as part of History!

Islam is not a religion it's a warfare in the guise of religion. The religion worth its name preaches universal love, compassion and kindness. There is such a thing as offensive Jihad in Islam, (which Muslims don't like to talk about) which was the reason Islam was able to spread so quickly. Islam was very largely spread by the sword.
