This channel focuses on combat flight simulators like DCS World and IL-2 Great Battles. If you play either of these games or flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and enjoy aviation and dogfighting then this channel is for you. Even if you are coming from War Thunder and BF2042, you can learn to fly these combat flight simulators.
I play using TrackIR5 and do not use VR, this means that I am able to capture footage for tutorials, how-to-guides and other multiplayer tips and tricks video in 1440p.
Eagle Dynamics has made it easier than ever to learn DCS because the game is technically free. The game has the F-15, F-16, Su-27, Mig-29, Mig-21, Mig-19, Mig-15, F-86 Sabre, Jf-17, Mirage 2000, F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. There are soon other modules coming such as the Mig-23 and F-4. Lastly, there are helicopters like the Mi-24 Hind and AH-64 Apache.
The same is also true for IL-2 Great Battles. With Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, Battle of Moscow and Battle of Normandy being released, there is an immense amount of variety covered. The Bf-109, Fw-190, P-51, Tempest, P-47, Mc.202, Stuka, Ju-88, He-111, and so on are all in the game. I focus on making videos to make that part accessible so you can dive into IL-2 Multiplayer. - Hry

Oh man I didn’t realize the Cold War server had naval helicopter ops. I always thought that was criminally underused in DCS multiplayer. Glad to see more of it
The anti ice switches above the pilot are negligible for power consumption as they are electric. The power loss comes from the engine anti ice switches located on the copilots switches next to the light switches. This is an air bleed on the engines and has great power penalties.
Previously reported Unindicted War criminal codenamed "Enigma" and his new mercenary cohorts have been spotted in an Unnamed marine location performing acts of piracy ( "Hoothi Ops" ) . Footage sent to this station show the attacks and sinking of several unarmed ships at sea and a premeditated destruction of an Oil platform . Explosions were seen on the Oil platform and The Mi-8 helicopter was seen crashing into the sea . Enigma's status is currently unknown but it is likely that he and his copilot were recovered . Later video evidence shows a troop landing and the subsequent destruction of the Tanker "Seawise Giant" . Our hearts go out to the crew of the Seawise giant which was lost with all hands . We will continue to follow this story and report to you the viewer unitl such a time as this infamous Pilot is captured and tried for his crimes . More to Follow ...

I love the Mi-8 and Mi-24, of all the helicopters they feel the most "helicopterey" I can believe I'm in a real machine rather than playing a video game.

statics rarely have actual physics modeled
There are some better looking oil rigs that don’t have a crappy platform with vertical nets like the one currently used. Is there a limitation for multiplayer adaptation that is the reason why these older platforms are used in ECW ?

I just checked. Oil Rig and Oil Platform are statics and look great with better landing areas. I posted in the suggestion part of the ECW discord with pics of the two.

I feel the high texture platforms also are way easier to approach. I really struggle with the low texture platforms

On a different subject. I'm new and just purchased the Mirage F1 after seeing it was a cold war aircraft but i didnt see an option to fly it on the server. Will this be possible in the future?
It's on the server as a red plane, it's in every campaign that we have
