I don't think it's fake, I didn't know either. I had thoughts that the character seemed similar to Eren but I discounted them as a disposable side character and that it couldn't be Eren because his leg would have regrown. So I was surprised too. Not because I never suspected, but kinda the opposite.
I didn't know either it was him until Reiner sat down to talk with him. And when I watched other's reactions and they realized immediately, I felt really dumb 🤡

The characters look different not only because the animation studio has changed, Isayama (the writer of aot manga) he himself changed the art style in his manga. When Isayama has just started his manga, his art style was not very good, Wit studio animated characters much prettier than they are in the manga, but MAPPA studio have followed the current Isayama’s art style as he became much better over years.

i totally agree with you on Eren finishing it. He only attacked after Willy declared war on Paradis island. Willy initially declared Eren as the enemy and he didn't attack until he brought the rest of the island into it. Also I loved Eren's reaction to Willy saying "because I was born into this world", it's purely in his eyes but it's almost like a moment of realisation or awakening.

He was already transforming before Willy made his sentence though. That’s a bullshit excuse because his Titan form was already exploding out of the basement when Willy said “declaration of war.” He was planning to transform regardless of what happened. He had begun transforming even before Willy started the sentence
idk if you guys picked up on it and didn't say anything but the moment at 20:49 Willy literally says "because i was born into this world" and that's exactly what Eren's mom said about him being special. That's why it shows eren at that moment eyes wide opened, he just had a realisation the guy he's going to literally eat alive legit has the same philosophy as his mom, the woman he's been trying to avenge since Season 1. I think it's really really telling about the horror of the situation, Eren ended a man who was the same type of person as his mom, despite saying himself, beyond the sea or in the walls, we're all the same....

This translation of Magath's statement that the Eldians are devils is poor. When He says "the 2 of us are devils", it's actually "we're devils ourselves". He's referring to all other races of humans, that no matter what race, tribe, ethnicity, sex, etc, we are all capable of great evil. This level of self-awareness was what made me like him.
While Magath is also talking in the broader sense, he is also talking about Willy and himself being devils specifically because of their plan to allow an attack to happen. They are putting many innocents in the crossfire to accomplish their goals.

So regarding the whole thing about Marley being the ones to start this whole thing by infiltrating Paradis island, you have to remember that in Marley's eyes they and the rest of the world were under Eldian rule for over 2000 years. They basically hate Eldian's with a passion because of the pain they suffered for so long. Think about if the Nazi's enslaved and killed for 2 thousand years, and then a large portion fled to an island without facing any consequences. Understandably many would be pissed and would call for their heads. Marley basically tried to kill two birds with one stone by taking out the "demons of Paradis Island" and also taking their natural resources
Well, I won't go looking for Nazi grandkids heads. They did nothing and deserve nothing. But all i see is marley is literally doing to them what was done to them not learning that this will lead to their downfall just like a cycle of hate😉

Well the Eldian who's responsible for the crime was already long dead. There's only their grandchildrens in Paradis. Is it fair to punish their descendants who know nothing? By your logic we should punish German and Japanese people because their grandparents crime during WW2. No, the real reason Marley attack Paradis 9 years ago was to steal the Coordinate and take their "oil" so Marley can maintain their dominance. Marleyan current government just really good at masking their intentions by propagating BS about ancient conflict that they never personally experienced.
@@gothorn2758 that’s true in a way but the situation is way more complex than that, since it was the very same king fritz the one who made the deal with the tyburs, left behind all these eldians on purpose to become marley’s slaves and never did a single thing to liberate them (because of that resentment Marley’s propaganda worked really well on them), and made sure Marley was in control of the other 7 titans so one day they would attack, the royal family doomed the island from the beginning. And just like Paradis people shouldn’t be punished for what their ancestors did, these civilians shouldn’t pay for what Marley’s military and government did.

I 1000% agree eren is finishing it! For me I as terrible as everything is I think one of the biggest places that Marley and the king messed up is forming paradis island on the merit that that was all that was left of mankind. The more I think about it the more im like thats where you got yourself messed up. Hearing this is it for mankind over and over will haunt me forever 😂 because here its just marley and oh yeah the world too. We have enemies but we can unite the world for us…. Once I watched those episodes, I also told myself "Well they started it" but then I realized that still don't excuse erens actions. The fact that he murder innocents is wrong and eren became the thing he swore to defeat. Two wrongs don't make a right. I think the whole theme to this season is that neither side is right. I get it though. We had 3 seasons of these characters, so we're all attach.

Ok I will explain a bit in the Warhammer. Not really spoiler cause you seen what happened in the battle. The abilities of the warhammer are extremely cool but also extremely costly. In a war of attrition it will loose just like it did with Eren. The Attack and Female titans are 2 powerhouses, although they have no "Power" per se, what they have is extreme endurance to fight regenerate, create new Titan and keep the fight going. The warhammer was exhausted when Eren created 2 more Titans after and kept fighting the Jaw . So Eren having the new power is a double edge sword. The more he uses the warhammer abilities the more exhausted he will be, preventing him of using the respawn 3-4 times.
