I was looking to buy this box set and happened to see your video posted yesterday, thanks for the review. The only sad thing is that Rajaz is not included in this box set.
Hello Saclang, thx for your reaction. As you may have noticed I am not that familiair with Camel. Don’t know their catalog. Maybe it’s a pitty that not all the studio albums are in this boxset. On the other hand the fans may already have them and are happy with the live recordings and Blu Ray’s I sure will listen to Rajaz. Grtz
Rajaz, along with all Camel albums released in the ‘90s and beyond, were released independently by Andy Latimer as Camel Productions. Decca still own the catalog from the band’s initial run so they can re-release that material as they see fit. All other albums can be purchased directly from Camel Productions at their website.
Hi Jif882, The basic information of every album is in the book. Original release data, personal that played, the producer, enigineer. I just compared the Nude album. On the album is some more tekst like the thx from the band. But the most important information of every album is in the book. GRTZ
Thx for the information Anybloke. Marillion, wow, didn’t knew that. Hé played om Garden Party I read. If i’m correct Andy, Doug and Ward had plans for making new music. Just a few years ago. Grtz
Maybe a second run is coming? I don't know. Most of the times the boxset are sold out, fast. For example Gentle Giant. Just keep on looking and who knows....
Got all the albums remastered so would only want the surround sound but only four albums done so won't bother. Would also prefer album sleeve replicas rather than those card booklets, yuk. Book looks nice but not much writing, mostly pics that we've all seen before. Doesn't look as good as the Caravan and Steve Hillage boxes. Not bothered about this one.
I don't know if surround sounds better? I don't know how the remastered albums sound like. I don't know if I can tell anyway. The music is great that's the most important. Enjoy.
Nasty CD packaging, just like the VdGG one! Reproduction sleeves should be essential for such a box set.
Hopefully they'll release a clamshell box too. With a small version of the book and actual artwork for the discs itself.
I agree, on the other hand the price for this boxset was not that high.
Man!! That Is A Nice Set!! All Inclusive!! Love It!!!!
Nice set. Same format as Hackett, Gong, VDGG. I like it.

I couldn't tell, but does the book have the original recording info like band personnel and recording personnel/locations for each album?

Andy Ward went into Marillion and later The Bevis Frond. He suffers from Bipolar disorder and has retired.

nice unboxing video. i got mine from Burning Shed. i think this set is sold out now. maybe they'll have a second run like they did with Gentle Giant.
Maybe they wil. I think it will sell very good. I'm getting more and more into Camel.
Rajaz is not in this magnificent box set because it is on the Camel Productions label not MCA or Decca.
Yes, on the label from Latimer. But still would be nice to have al records in a box.
Thx for your reaction. Grtz
I've not been able to get this as it is sold out

Its better to just buy each original album.
Maybe I will. But for now it's a perfect introduction in Camel for me.
Expensive. I cant find one for cheaper than 300 bucks.@@Ppj29qT

I bought this set and I know nothing about this band!
Prepare to be amazed... You are entering a new dreamy music world.
Pressure Points Live in Concert should convert you.
I desribe them to the uninitiated as a mix of Pink Floyd and Alan Parsons Project.
Sorry but this is such a dull review and I am shutting you down now !
Art work is terrible
