    I have a 2005 Freightliner Century Class S/T, Detroit 60 series smartshift with the clutch pedal with no fault codes . When I first start it ,then put it in gear it shift fine I can drive for hours. When I need to take a break turn it off . then try to get it to go into gear it won't. I would have to sit for a while and then it will go into gear and drive for hours. Do the XY Shifter suppose to display fault codes?
    Please can someone help me

      Every Weller Remanufactured XY is fully tested at operating temperatures in an ESD safe laboratory before being boxed up and shipped out.

    Is the calibration done during the drive cycle or initial install?

    • @rhodes2you
      @rhodes2you Před 18 dny

      Calibration is completed at ignition off.

    What if the push selector doesn’t have power?

      This shifter gets its power from the ignition circuit and is chassis specific. Pinout can be found in Eaton TRTS0930

    Mine has an F with flashing service light. Still works while driving so I don't really know what might be wrong with it. ?

      Chris, to start off, my favorite numbers are 76-01 so we have that in common.
      Now to answer your question, A flashing "F" means there is an active fault code in the Eaton system. Since the transmission is still shifting, it is not a critical error, but something that should be addressed before the situation worsens. On the Weller Truck Parts website, under the "Support" tab, click "Technical Documents" and look for the applicable trouble shooting guide. This guide will explain how to retrieve trouble codes and the troubleshooting involved in rectifying these trouble codes. I hope this helps.
      Thanks

      @@WellerTruckParts thanks. It was a problem with reverse and neutral position recognition. It was just a company truck that I don't have anymore. Thanks for replying 😁👍

    What does it mean G1 code transmission please. Thank you

    • @WellerTruckParts
      @WellerTruckParts  Před rokem

      Hello there!
      "G1" is not a fault code for this product line. Please connect your truck with Service Ranger 4 for accurate fault codes and diagnostics.
      Thanks

    How do you center that finger

    • @WellerTruckParts
      @WellerTruckParts  Před rokem

      Hello Jovanny, according to our experts, on power up the XY shifter should automatically center itself. If the XY shifter does not automatically center itself, that could be an indication of a failure... I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
      Thanks

    I want to build an automated tractor for farming. I'm a software engineer with a degree in software and electronics as a point of reference (not a mechanic).
    Essentially I want to make old tractors, many if not most with a manual transmission and clutch, smart tractors.
    I think your product is targeted at the trucking industry, but it appears to be a short leap to adapt to agriculture.
    What I need is the ability to electronically control a device like yours for small and mid sized manual transmission tractors. Is that possible? Same question for breaking, throttle, clutch, PTO, hydraulics, etc.
