We are an older couple and bought this tent late last summer. Tried it out once and we are very impressed with the ease of pitching. We also have the vestibule which makes the front area perfect as an enclosed kitchen and dining area. Impressed also with the curtain zips. So much easier than all our many older models of tents. Just one suggestion to improve the experience; buy some decent rock pegs. Those supplied are weak plastic ones so pretty useless in harder ground. Overall a brilliant tent.
does anyone know the difference between the Kampa Hayling Air 4 and the Kampa Kielder Air 4? They seem very similar but are a bit different. Is one more of a 'pro' version, or one an old model...?thank you!
So the Hayling Pro is an older model but is a much higher spec than all of the current models. The Kielder is a smaller version of the Hayling as it is smaller in height and feels less boxey as the tubes are more rounded than vertical.
Tent is great, vestibule not so successful. It comes undone in moderate wind, which renders it useless. It’s a real design flaw since the connecting zips only go half up the side of the tent, when the wind pushes into the vestibule the zips can be forced open.

How much please
How much does the polycotton version of this tent cost in U.S. dollars and can it be shipped to U.S.? Thank you!

@@AttwoollsCoUk thanks so much for the reply. Much appreciated 👍

They have modified the zips on the latest model (Dometic Rarotonga 401) so it’s a lot more thorough.
@@AttwoollsCoUk Thank you. Is that compatible with my tent though? A hayling 4 air pro 2020?
@@JamesAbbott-tb9fj unfortunately not, you’d have to buy a whole new tent & vestibule.
