    Know I’m `late to the party‘ but, nice video Fab as I’m just about to change scales on my smock and this video will come in handy 😄👍

    I did some searching and finally found a soldering mat like the one you have. I love that it has places to put screws and tools. Much nicer than the typical knife/gun maintenance mat.

      Oh yes definitely. Also some slots are magnetic, which is super useful with bits and screws 😉

      @@Fablades Do screws easily bounce on the mat?

      @@BAtadCrazy not that much, but also depends on the density of the screws I guess?

    Are those 2 back spacers exactly the same or is one slightly different? In other words is each spacer designated for a certain hole out of two spaces where they sit? And do they need to be placed in a certain direction? I'm having a hard time with the reassembly because I have horrible vision problems that can't be resolved with glasses and the parts to this knife as you already know are super tiny. Good video by the way it was the clearest most sensible video I came across on utube so far concerning the order of reassembly.

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  Před rokem +1

      I’d say they are the same, but helps keeps them in the same place they came from

      Thanks. Okay yeah that's why I was asking because I mixed them up and forgot which was where. I actually dropped all the hardware on the floor and spent several hours locating them.... it wasn't a pleasant experience. My next attempt I'll be sure to get more organized, you're work mat seems to work perfectly for this.

    Why did you leave out the second detent ball and spring? Did you lose them on the first disassembly?

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  Před 2 lety +1

      Was removed to make it more fidgety 😉

      Wait there's a spring I took my apart from factory and never had a spring the detent ball for sure that just sits in there but no spring. Could you specify please because it's making me feel like I lost something or mine is incomplete

      @@Fablades what does it do?

    • @Fablades
      @Fablades  Před 2 lety +1

      The seconds detent holds the blade in place when button is pressed, so if you remove it it will have an action similar to button lock, or axis lock
