It’s good to see you back, I almost didn’t recognize the logo for about 2 seconds. Thanks for uploading

Well done this is got very complex curves making it extremely hard to do. I was a bit anxious about the screen being left in situ. A few years ago I had a similar (not as bad) problem with rear screen of Rover P5 coupe. I got a bit of grinding on the rear screen. It didn’t happen immediately but went over a bump in road and screen broke going over a bump. Had to source new screen. Have a good look at the screen for grinding flecks. But.. very well done!

Thank you for watching and commenting. Your completely right I should of protected the glass better, but he is planning on a new screen soon anyway. With the rover would the rear screen be unlaminated and therefore a bit more fragile? I managed to punch through the front screen on the vw camper getting the screen to seat in new seals...the replacement weighed a more than double... take care.

@@Gfix109 I enjoyed watching thank you. Your set up so much like mine! Rover rear screen was laminated but the flecks of grinding joined up so it had to be replaced. I got one second hand from a scrap yard but I had heart in mouth while fitting it as it was the only one available. Lots of tiger seal! Thanks again. All the best.

You really need to take the screen out

Totally agree but he wants to use ot this summer and I reckon taking it out will be a potential nightmare. We are going to take the screen out this winter and deal with all the rust. Thanks for watching.

@@Gfix109 yes, wouldn't be an easy job. Would make it a lot easier to weld though
