Been visiting Cornwall since 1976, go as often as I can, been through Fowey on the ferry many times, but never visited the village. Watching your video has now convinced be to pay a visit. Beautiful place, definitely going 👍
That was a pretty village. Looking forward to visiting some day 😊 Here at the western coast of southern Norway we have 15 degrees, overcast and occational shower at the moment. Supposedly better next week with up to 22 degrees and almost no rain 😄 So enjoy the summerly weather if you can 😁

Lovely footage 👍 it may well be on the list of places to stay when we drop our daughter and her friend off in Newquay in August when they stay at Boardmasters. Stayed in Falmouth last year and apart from day one being lousy…it was torrential rain all day…the weather was great.
Fowey is lovely just watch out for those hills 😆
@@LoveSundays that’s something I’ll have to consider because I had a total knee replacement at the end of January and I’m not quite fully recovered yet…I’m about 95% there but too much walking does get painful at the moment 👍😎
There is a bus that takes you back up to the top but just check that it’s running before you go

Another top video Shaun you picked a great day to visit fowey ansom weather not been there for years my mate used to run a pub there called the safe harbour. I have a degree in standing outside shops waiting for the wife to buy nothing. Looking forward to the next episode. Thanks as always Shaun. 👍
The weather was great a bit hot for that massive climb up the hill at the end though 😆. We’re living the dream waiting outside whilst they shop for nothing. It’s worse when they make us hold their handbags 👜 😆

Yea love Cornwall make sure you visit the Pirate FM website as they have a list of 130 dog friendly beaches to visit. I’ve done a few beach reviews explaining which beaches are dog friendly too when you can watch here

Hi, loved my stay in Falmouth for 2 weeks! A really enjoyable and lovely place to stay. Would love to live there one day!
Never say never Charlie. I love living in the Falmouth area but to get a good grasp of the community winter is a great time to visit just to see what it’s like out of season 👍

@@LoveSundays think we did . We avoided the main places like St ives and Padstow. For our own safety . Have not been Fowey for while . When Haverners was refurbished in 2015 James Strawbridge did some of the menu development. We ate at Haverners when we were there .
I don’t blame you for avoiding the busy places it’s crazy busy at the moment. I’ve never eaten at Haverners apart from the fish and chip shop where I sampled the chips and the battered sausage when I was serving it 😂.

@@andym1908 Holywell bay is beautiful. There’s a lovely cave there which is called the Holy Well which has some beautiful colours. I’ll probably make a video about it at some point 👍
