+Adriana Garcia Hi Adriana, yes, I use hair waxes but use the matte kind so they don't look greasy. Sexy Hair matte dry wax spray is still my favorite. I don't remember if I used it in this video, I most likely did.

i have very this silky hair and once i added enough dry shampoo i actually got it done. Might not look as polished as this one but I think it looks great. also first time i ever tried something like that on my hair and wasnt very hard to do.
Add some dry shampoo to it. My mother in law has super fine hair that has never held curls in it even with perms (perms would last close to a week, but that's it then be straight as a board again). I have done her hair before and it didnt hold up at all. Her son got married 2 weeks ago and I asked her not to wash her hair the night before the wedding and I sprayed her hair with dry shampoo all over the roots and I finely misted all of her hair with hairspray before starting. I curled her hair with a Paul Mitchell flat iron and hairsprayed each piece after curling it and it stayed all night (over 8 hours for sure..would've probably been longer, but she washed it). Also, if you know you have to do an updo before the day of the event, the night before the event, DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR..I REPEAT, DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR!! Dirty hair always styles better, but the night before the event, spray dry shampoo all over your roots and while you sleep, it will help disperse it and then spray again right before fixing your hair for the event.
