This will be really good if the game set in 16th century pike and shot era........ I would suggest putting fatigue and discipline as variable. With newly recruited units is prone to morale shock and experienced unit can withstand better.
It would be awesome if Creative Assembly ditched the Warscape engine and moved on to Unreal Engine 5. I know, wishful thinking.

Definitely need to a code an automatic response in a pike formation to brace for cavalry, otherwise it's gunna feel like you're commanding lemmings
i dont think that you unterstand how games are developt and just because he is posting a video dosent mean that its a finish programm

i agree battle for middle earth had that where pike units would brace for any cavalry charge resulting in devastating loss to the cavalry.
