This #SeanMatsuda #Movelist video exhibition tutorial serves as an educational character guide that teaches a full move set and how to play #StreetFighterIII3rdStrike.

That EX sean tackle is pretty badass
GALL4RD0 i love finishing people with that and his basketball
donkeydonk127 how do you throw the basketball?
Pablo Garcia R1 and R2 together on ps4. His taunt is the basketball throw . it also increases stun.
Sean tackle (or takedown and ground and pound) is very satisfy move if it connects especially the EX one. This make him standout from regular Shoto characters. Unfortunately, it is still blockable.
So was his Shroyuken but Capcom took it away...
Hadou Burst
Single hit, single parry to nullify, plows through most single hitting fireballs, can be negated by 2-3 hit projectiles, subtracts 3 hits from larger projectiles (except Temporal Thunder) and can be deflected by Aegis Reflector. Fireball breaking attacks require 3 hits to properly nullify (ex. Hugo's ex clap, Dudley's Corkscrew Blow).
Of course it sucks, Sean isn't even that good to throw a good Hadouken.
@@andersongutierrez8705 Only in Third Strike, my friend, only in Third Strike. Go to Vanilla Street Fighter III or Second (Double/Giant) Impact and you'll realize, quite quick, why Sean was nerfed into oblivion.
Regardless, the Hadou-Burst Super Art is actually the preferred option in O.G. and Second Impact S.F. III for tournament and professional play.
Sean and Urien were both nerfed pretty hard but at least with Urien they made the character more technically advanced while lowering his overall damage output and removed a few of his unblockable setups, Sean was simply obliterated in the rebalancing process which is what we ended up with in Third Strike.
If Campcom wasn't so arrogant, especially back in the 90s with its fighting games, with its model of mere incremental upgrades in a series' life-cycle then we could have actually seen Sean return as a balanced character rather than an O.P. mess to a meme character but that's Capcom for ya.
A.J. Abrams
I don’t get why he was Nerfed in the first place, he was a pretty great character before third strike, but he wasn’t a broken/op character
@@thirdocean3784 Just be happy we got a completely new character to play as to boot.
@@thirdocean3784 bc of lore reasons, he was Ken's pupil and at the same he was more op than him,but it was't necessary to made him bottom tier tho.
Sean is just like Ryu and Ken. I can't believe that they're friends
"The music playing in the background is the official Sean Matsuda theme from sf3 3rd strike"
*cries in oro*
Oro has his 2nd impact theme even his New Gen theme
3rd Strike is Sean's official theme
Even fits his character
TORNAN!!!! LOVE IT! Hope Sean is a beast on SF6.
I wish Sean will Come Back to Street Fighter V ( or whatever ) . He is Cool Character and has a Teacher-Student Relationship with Ken . It would be a Good Story ^_^
+Romus011 They could bring him back if they wanted. The relationship with him and Ken kinda went as such. Sean sees Ken is a great fighter and idolized him. He sought him out as a student and was rejected multiple times and was then sent to find Ryu by ken and not to return unless he beat Ryu, which he then lost....multiple times again to Ryu this time getting beat horribly to severe injury. After recovering he trained by himself for a year and then found Ken again during a Tournament that Ken later won, but Sean lost to a random fighter in the early rounds. Ken basically told him he lacks discipline and at the moment is not a true street fighter. With that they left his character open ended, vowing to one day win the U.S. Fighting Championship that Ken won. Ken and Sean are like Ryu and Sakura. Two not as skilled fighters that seek to beat and be trained by skilled fighters. I don't see it as exactly teacher student, but more student trying to prove himself with both being rejected. Sakura's relation was more of a student turned into a one way crush with Sean's relation to Ken being admiration to beat him or be like him. I would like to see Sean return as a more experienced character.
+Dominicus of New York It has been confirmed that V took place before 3rd Strike and Sean's sister, Laura appears in V. I think it's gonna explain how Sean admires Ken by seeing Ken fighting Laura and beats her. So Sean ain't gonna appear more experienced in V, unless he's using his family's fighting style in that game
He didn't return, sadly.
@@dasher1652 He did. In super story mode only though.
SF6 let’s hope
I like Sean's Hadou-Burst.
2:23
So this is where SFV Ken's overhead-looking kick comes from.
Thanks for this I'm just getting into the genre and this explains everything I needed to know.
Sean is awesome
Wish he become badass
It's because he's drinking brazilian café since he was a child in BRAZIL,that's the reason
I hope he learn the Hadouken and that his Tornado Kick becomes powerful and moves at Short, Middle, and Across the Screen.
Both Ken and Sean’s styles are based on Kyokushin Karate. Judging by the techniques like the axe kicks and rolling thunder kicks. Those are exclusively Kyokushin moves. Especially in a karate sense.
wish they would have kept his original dragon smash as a ex move.
2:45 Sean Super Art is a Normal Ryu's Hadouken!
He's still learning and Ken is better with Shoryukens, not Hadoukens like Ryu.
It works different. It has 3 sub hits inside and the first one is special.
Great for Ken to get Sean Tackled
R.I.P Sean
He was good in Second impact only then to be brutally nerfed in 3s.
He’s pretty damn powerful in 3S
@@jeffreyali1456 And how is he powerful? He's the second worst in 3s barely above 12.
@@NotoriousYEETER well his moveset has some range and has some mean grapples. Took a while to beat him
@@jeffreyali1456 The only good thing that he has is his super 2. ALL of his special moves are unsafe on block, he has no cancelable target combos or normals (other than standing or crouching LP), both super 1 and 3 are unsafe on block, he has no good EX moves, and almost all versions of tornado are UNSAFE ON HIT.
@@NotoriousYEETER most of his tornadoes aren’t too bad to pull off. With how he fights and grapple, it’s a learning curve, but satisfying to win. And again, he was a difficult opponent to take down
Capcom, now is your chance. #streetfighter6
New,2nd's Sean was stronged.
He should be brought in Street Fighter 6.
2:04 Pokemon's Takedown Attack in SF3!
If they bring him back I hope they keep this hair style. The other one is aight but compared to this it fucking sucks.
Yoo at 1:20 Sean dabs for a frame or two. His after match taunt game must be top tier.
Sean amazing great good nice ♥️
hadou-burst!
actually sean is not bad but it really misses a ball toss fireball basically - so he is just way low
2:52
2:58
Best super for him
@@RuhabDabeer Looks like Violent Ken's Super Move
@@kprogatons Well
I mean Violent Ken is like most SNK chars Supers
Like Iori, Ryo , Kim e.t.c
Where they charge at an opponent
@@RuhabDabeer Oh, ok
BR neles!
*T* *O* *R* *N* *A* *Í*
Would have been nice to show what happens if the Sean Tackle doesn't connect, or gets blocked since its a fatal mistake, or when you let go of P before the grab frame.
Yeah true, still it's cool you can kind of see the distance where it connects. I always tried my best so it would be farthest possible.
Tornaddddd!!!!!
No love for Necro to be in SF5? I'll just sit over here then...
I want Twelve more.
Kubloo i wan nerco in sfv but not as a skin for dhalsim
He’s cameoing in the background of the Halloween underground arena stage
@@alexgriffin8341 for now he is the waluigi of sfv am i rigth
How do you do the basketball move?
Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick at the same time. I think you can change the distance by pressing Forward or Back respectively.
@@tonitoniversus Thanks I just did it.
How do u throw the ball
HP+HK, it's his taunt.
Steet Fighter lll: 3rd Strike - Sean Mode List Wii白色主機版本 The - White&Black -
Igualito al mocoso de la pelota de aggressor of dark
How do you throw the basketball
do u play with arrow keys or analog stick ??? im struggle to make combo
W S A D on keyboard.
How do you make combo's? That's friggin hard.
How u gonna have a hadou burst but dnt have haouken??????
Hadoken is a quite advanced technique for Sean so he has it as a Super instead.
Cloud 9 peanut butter
the bball tho
How to get the 🏀 to come out?
That's his Taunt, (Forward or Back +) PPP+KKK
HOW TF DO U THROW THE BALL?? I MEAN HOW
Heavy Punch + Heavy Kick.
Like si piensas que sean es muy fastidioso en las batallas
Sean is good but he is too bulky like ryu ken and in some extent Dan
Well he's a palette swap. Capcom didn't want to draw a distinct body for him, though they should have.
@@edwardgaines6561 but it would be awesome to have a slim Shoto character
Another slightly varied Shoto-clone hahaha
Something i cringe about when Sean is doing tornado. He’s not saying Tornado. Instead he’s saying TORNAYEEEEE. The fuck is wrong with the voiceover
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
His new voice is annoying
That's Champa's Japanese voice too
