So it turns out that this Nissan is ONLY good enough for Africa. [Bad Joke!]. Global NCAP safety crash test is worst ever. It is potentially lethal in a moderate accident and it fold up like a thin piece of paper scrunched up. It 'gained' 0.000 safety stars out of five. This version was replaced in Europe about 10 years ago with the Navara and that had a reputation for breaking chassis and was itself replaced with the NP300 Navara, which is very different indeed to the Hardbody you test above. Did you mention a 750kg towing capacity? The latest versions have a 3500kg towing capacity and all but the king cab have coil rear springs.
Maybe wait for the modern, safer, NP300 Navara, but make sure it is fitted with the same safety systems as fitted for the rest of the world. Your safety should not be compromised by buying crap like this.
