I used to watch your videos almost 10 years ago man. I swear i was just thinking “man i wish i could find that guys youtube, i used to love his videos.” I refreshed my youtube like 5 times because I couldn’t find something to watch, and you just happened to pop up! I can’t believe it. I don’t know if youtube read my mind or what but man am I happy. I remembered your RIP Rango video and I actually managed to find a comment I left on it.
Haha thanks for finding your way back! Hopefully you enjoyed the video!!
@@MikeTytula I sure did. It’s so nice seeing how far you’ve come. I remember your old bedroom with just a few tanks and now you’ve got over 100 animals!! So happy for you man! Wishing you the best
Thanks man! I've definitely come a long way! Now it's about making the best tanks possible :)
☕ absolutely loved the tour! Thank u so much for taking the time to video all of that and give us great info about each little critter! My husband and I really enjoyed it! Awesome work you did on all their homes! Beautiful critters!
Thanks for the kind words Tracy! Glad you and your husband enjoyed :)
Good tour sir. Cheers to a good cup of coffee
Thanks! And I totally agree!
Hey Mike, I used to follow your channel heavily when I was lot younger, I remember Stella and Bowser as well as Striker even before the naturalistic setup. Haven’t been active in quite a while but I had to comment on Striker.
I think you made the right decision with him. I went through the same thing in the last couple years except mine lost some mobility (and climbing ability with his toes) on his front legs. He perked up a lot after being taken back to a simple, paper towel setup with no verticals. I think doing so definitely prolonged mine’s life like you said. I just lost him last month after 17 good long years. Wishing you both the best!
That’s awesome! Glad you found your way back to the channel! Sorry to hear about the passing of yours :(
Hi Mike and Bree. Hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎉🎉. Love all your videos. And keep wearing shorts. It's supposed to be in the 80's today in Cali. 😂
Merry Christmas, and happy new year to you as well! I wear shorts anytime I can haha. It’s been a mild winter so far!
You da man, Mikey. Incredible reptile room, incredible content.
Thanks so much Luke!
Merry Christmas Mike! Great video!
Merry Christmas Coley!!
This reptile room is incredible! I’m exhausted with my 12 😂 great video!
Ayyy finally found your way to the video hahah
Awesome vid Mike have a great Christmas
You as well!
Beautiful tour, beautiful reptiles and amphibians!! Boy I love me some coffee!!! ☕☕☕
Awesome! Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
Great video! Your enclosures are beautiful. I agree with you on Leopard Geckos. I have one (Willy) and he will be 23 in February! I keep several species of reptiles and he's my favorite. Unfortunately he's had some recent health issues and been to the vets a few times. I'm currently doing antibiotic injections for him. I love this little guy. Wishing Striker the best too 😊 oh also, I don't drink coffee lol
hahah no issue with not drinking coffee! And nice, Willy is a trooper
Michigan Baby!!! Nothing but love from the mitten for our Canadian brothers and sisters!
you betcha! Thanks!
I love "COFFEE!!!!!" too and was drinking one while watching this vid. Congrats on the "kids", loved the tour.
Thanks for watching! I hope you had a great Coffee!
Excellent collection! Love your vivs for sure! Def jealous of your Fiji iguana 😂. See you this year at Tinley hopefully!!
Absolutely! Make sure you say hi when you see me!
@@MikeTytula absolutely!!
U do so good at saying their scientific names , me I just say what they r ....love ur reptile room!!!! I got one too just not as many or big as urs but I love them all the same thanx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Awesome collection
Thanks so much.
☕️! I just finished listening to your episode on Amphibicast with Dan, so what great timing for a room tour upload! It's comforting to hear you try to explain the domino-effect process of upgrading tanks that i'm sure many of us are all too familiar with: You can't upgrade this until you upgrade that and are able to move this to over there and so on. Like you can't just remove a tank and put a bigger one in it's spot unfortunately, lmao. A couple questions about your Eurydactylodes symmetricus tank- what technique did you use to make that background? Insulation foam + drylok? And, would you happen to know the plant species that's in there? I have a couple of the same one but haven't confirmed whether the Hoya vibes it gives off are accurate or not. I hope you never stop the reptile room tours; I thoroughly enjoy seeing the progress in the setups and animals, and you really do provide so much inspiration! Merry Christmas to you and Bree from Georgia, US!
That’s great to hear! If you watched this whole thing and dans podcast, that’s a lot of me talking haha. The domino effect is real haha. Bree made that tank with spray foam and drylok and the plant is peperomia obtusifolia. Merry Christmas :)🎄
I love the three frogs, they're adorable and I love their names...lol!
They are pretty cute I'll give them that haha
❤ all the coffee and your room and your lepard gecko thanks 🎉❤
Thanks so much! Hopefully you enjoyed!
Name suggestion for the Leaf turtles for the male Zeus and the female Athena. Just idea for ya. Love your reptile room setup always have you and Bree do amazing work
Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely keep it in mind!
I like Mork and Mindy for the leaf turtles. They look so derpy.
Mork hahahah
@@MikeTytula I saw someone else suggest Meep, you could go with Mork and Meep
hahahaha that would be hilarious
great video as always! and am excited for the feeding video. should prepare a large mug of coffee as I expected it would be long just like this video 😊☕️🥐
Yes definitely prepare a pot of coffee for that one haha
Striker is awesome. I have a 20+ year old leopard gecko. I cam certainly understand your feeling.
Ya it’s tough watching our beloved pets get older
Soo cool, love your vids.
And you should really check out Cold Blooded Caffeine, they combine coffee and snakes, i love them.
hahah I have some of their coffee, and might have a blend of my own.... ;)
Nice tour.
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
5:59 when u make the feeding video possible u can put a estimate on cost of feeding monthly
Unfortunately I have already filmed the video and didn't include that but it varies heavily month to month. I would say probably 2-300$ per month
Can you please do a western shovelnose snake care guide.
It would be awesome
That would be something I’d like to do however I would like to produce them prior to making a video. We’ll see if that happens though
Oh striker bless him, the true OG, before rango, bean and bowser there was always a leopard gecko.
You betcha! He’s the true OG
Great video as always. Coffee
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
I love that watering can. Bought several myself since they were $3. @$10-$15 I would own only 1.
Ya they work great!
just wondering where you get your species card from on the front of your cages they are so cool and really nice touch
Cloud forest designs
Would love to see some feeding videos. It’s my favourite part of pets. Eating live insects. Until I have my room set up videos of feeding is the best I get. Coffee is the best drink.
Feeding video is in coming! Hopefully by the end of the week. If not, just after christmas!
I’m so jealous that y’all Canadians can keep Fijian banded iguana. Easily my favorite iguanid species. So stunning and the perfect size
Ya they are truly the perfect iguanid.
Just curious what’s the purpose of the fruit fly culture in the strawberry frogs enclosure? New to dart frogs and just caught my eye!
Towards the end of the 4-5 week cycle of the fruit fly containers, there tends to be a mite boom in the culture, and that is great food for the froglet pumilio
Hello Mike, what und use for a light for the histries and pumis? Uvb ? Nice Job and have a good time
I dont currently have any UVB on them, though that is something I am considering adding in the future. I just have either Sunblaster LEDs or Arcadia LEDs on them.
Are you Canadian CZcamsrs able to bring your animals Over the border to Brian's Legasea and Reptarium for a visit that would be awesome!
I am going to do my best to be at the opening, but no animals will be joining us
Fun fact about me, I've never tried coffee and I'm 22, I feel like if I started I wouldn't be able to stop drinking it
Same I just started at 19 drinking because my coworkers do in the morning, I can say it is not addicting like people say it is, it’s just basic self control. I don’t even drink it much now, don’t see the appeal
Nah I never found that I needed it, it's just a nice routine, and also helps with the pick me up if you are extra tired or something one day. I started young but I know many people that try it at your age and either love it, or hate it.
hmmm i drink about 6 -7 cups a day
@@miltonlopez7370please don't spread your opinion as fact. You're the reason people think snakes "sise you up" to eat.
@@sdqsdq6274I'm an occasional coffee drinker
"What" Michigan, put your hands up im a michigan guy too.
Nice!
im guessing the savu was hiding again?? haha xD nice video mike!
I talked about it in the video haha. But yes
@@MikeTytula i must´ve missed it xD
Ya I believe you should see him in the next video
where did you get the little basking puck light from on the takydromus enclosures?
Tbh I got them from a buddy who was selling them. They used to be sold in the US as under cabinet lighting I believe
HI. What are those square low profile LED lights? Do they put out UVB? They look very useful. TY.
They are awesome! They are called Skylight LEDs, they do not output UVB
@@MikeTytula Ty
My blood type is dark roast! Love my coffee!
Hahaha what a great saying! Coffee is love, coffee is life
Do I remember it correctly that you use deep heat emitters at least for the uromastyx? I’ve understood that those can dry out reptiles on the long run since they affect the metabolism.
DHP is their supplementary heat yes.
I love reptiles :)
Im glad! There are plenty in the room tour :)
You should consider captions please ❤😊
I'd love to, but I just don't have time to manually write down everything I say during the video.
COFFEEEEEEE ☕️
Thanks for watching Kayla!
What moss is growing in the basti tank? I really like it
I have no idea!
Hey Mike I have an older bearded dragon probably close to 13ish years old now and I have him in a larger enclosure but have noticed him slowing down over the past few weeks/ months. His basking spot includes a big ramp to get up to a platform and food dish on the opposite end. I had the idea to move him to a smaller enclosure as I notice sometimes him laying on the hot side at the bottom for extended periods of time sleeping. Would moving him to a smaller tank and testing it be an okay option? I just don’t want to stress him out too much considering his older age. What do you think? I couldn’t find much research on the matter so I thought to come to you! Thanks
You can definitely give a shot. Though if you don't notice any negative quality of life, then you can likely keep him in what he's in.
@@MikeTytulaokay thank you I’ll try it out and see how it goes !
Sounds good!
coffee good job cool animals
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Coffee makes me sleepy. I'm a spicy chai type.
Ohhh that’s a great choice!
Lovecoffee with coconut milk as a substitute!
Ohhh that sounds incredible!
hey i have a question.. is dragon stone safe to use in a frog terrarium? i just can't find infos about (sharp) stones in frog habitats..
I used it in my tree frog setup for a couple years!
Coffee you just checking to see if we spell it right. Lol no but great looking room there.
hahah you'd be surprised how many people didn't spell it right! Thanks for watching the whole room!
Minty ☕️
Thanks
I don't really like coffe but I did really like this video and dart frogs😁👍
Haha thanks for making it to the end!
@@MikeTytula I Did skip a few parts but that doesn't really matter right... 😁
Ohhhh it matters haha. What parts did you skip??
I want a western shovel nose snake so badly! I'm obsessed with snakes who eat things that aren't mammals lol. I'm too much of a softie.
They are fantastic snakes! We definitely need more people producing these captive bred though.
What is that plant growing on the rock in the oophaga pumilo tank? Antherium?
It's an anthurium of some kind, not sure on ID though
@@MikeTytula it’s stunning whatever it is. Merry Christmas from the uk
Agreed! One of my favourite plants tbh! Merry Christmas to you as well!
The B. nigriceps are venomous, not toxic 😉
Yaaa should have said potent, but I’m aware 😂
Names and prices are insane
Haha what?
@@MikeTytula the morph names. There are so many!
Ya there are a lot of different morphs out there.
Fresh off the plate lol
You betcha! Hope you enjoyed what you have seen so far!
☕️ you should name the leaf turtles oak and willow
Thanks for the great suggestion!
Meep or Myrtle for the turtles!!!
Haha thanks for the suggestions!
Coffee ☕️ ❤
Thanks for watching! Hopefully you enjoyed!
@MikeTytula definitely I want a hog nose so bad to add to my collection 😫
Hopefully we will have many available next season at all price points :)
After watching this im wondering if i should upgrade my russian tortoise setup
What are you keeping your Russian in?

Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
Leeeeeeettttttsssssss gooooooooooo let me grab a coffee real quick tho. (PS where is that morning gecko invasive video? Gimme content)
Hahah it'll come eventually! I want to get them in their new tank so I can film them more easily!

Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
If you didn’t make it to the end, you stink. #Coffee lmao
haha agreed!
Do you plan on getting tatoca a girlfriend at some point
No, no gf for Totoka anytime soon, if ever.
Elijah & Rebekah Mikaelson (names for the turtles)
Somebody’s been watching vampire diaries haha
@@MikeTytula lol no, I watched "The Originals"
Ahhh haha spin-off of the Vampire diaries... I watched both hahahah@@marixarojas2589
The swollen toes could be gout. Caused by urates. It could also be caused from moist substrate which i don't think you have. It could also be from low basking temps, rough surfaces or nail infection. If none of the last mentioned apply, my guess would be gout. You can possibly correct with diet changes. Definitely talk with your Vet. Hope the little guy is ok.
That was my thought too. I’ll definitely be talking to my vet about it
☕️
Thanks for watching!
