You know a band is stellar when the live version sounds better.
I think that might be due to the fact that they've played it hundreds of more times since they first recorded it. But yeah, it's great to hear they are just getting better and better!
Also KEXPs audio guys! I find that this is a recurring pattern that some songs on kexp sound better then their album versions
So true...when I first heard I was like holy shit...NEWER yet ORGASMICLY FABULOUS...they have to be cool for their gen. like actual artists (not just some other morons spewd by modern media outlets cause most people are seritoniniously addicted to pretty faces...which result in likes and followers..
I could be wrong but not about HAELOS pretty sure Lotti is an earth angel too..we can see our own .

Randomly bought this album for a dollar out a used bin years ago. Their vocal harmonies bring freakin' tears to my eyes. Mebbe the best $ I ever chanced. Incredible musicians.

There is so much variety in music... this is complex/constructed stuff... every instrument and note adds something artistic to make the whole greater than its parts. And KEXP's sound engineers are top-line that let you clearly hear every nuance... nothing is wasted... a masterpiece to be proud of. Beautiful and moving... 5 minutes of my life well spent. Thank you!

Hahaha you're absolutely right! Those extra hits aren't on the recording. You see the lil shake of the head, the return "fuck it!" look from the drummer, hah. Nice catch.
It looks to me like he's just looking over to make sure their timing is locked together when he hits the keys at 2:26.
