At 8:07 you don’t need that floor hole for the conveyer lift, they line up to go from top to bottom.

Sure, but it will stick out much further. I put in the floor hole to force the lift to stay closer to the splitter/merger.
So yea, I dent need it, but I think it looks better and It saves space, which I may or may not have needed to fit in the blueprint. Either way, I like to have control over how far those lifts stick out.
