The Samsung feels much harsher on the hand with pointy corners -- the rounded nature for Oppo/Xiaomi are a big plus
For me the price for Samsung/Apple seems harsher than the corners 😁...
I love the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, very very happy with it.
But... it does NOT have a 5400mAh battery, the OnePlus 12 does though!

@@AverageDadOfficialWill be getting my Xiaomi 14 Ultra in white on Wednesday. Hopefully I've made the right decision to get it. I hope their will be software updates to fix portrait mode but I have actually emailed them even though I've not received my device yet.
I have no battery issue with the China version of Xiaomi. using it now over a week and it easily lasts for a full day with HEAVY useage.
I wanna buy the China Version too with flashed EU Rom..is it available yet?
@wouter.d.h. Only the Global rom version is released at this moment. I guess EU rom will be available after or on the 20th of March when the EU version will be officially released.
How many hours of screen on time are you having on the chinese version? I am considering it

What? The only camera with a variable aperture is the main one, the wide angle is not, so saying that the wide angle photo came out darker because of that is incorrect.
The whole camera comparison was filled with bogus photos. Not sure if it's a feature of this channel to miss stuff like that? Dark ultra wide. Unfocused main.
Samsung's 5x is way more zoomed in . I mean if it's just outside your house surely you can take them again :)

Xiaomi and Oppo have far better hardware camera, I think for now Oppo is ahead but with upcoming update, Xiaomi can claim the throne.
Xiaomi still has thermal trottling issues with tihs model.....

Xiaomi will not replace my device with condensation issues, I was told by email, it was a natural thing that happens with the lens. My battery performance is great now, but I do use the photography kit for extended battery life. The photos are amazing, and I know how to use a DSLR/mirrorless system. Very happy with the 14 ultra.

Man,14 ultra is the best... Soo wanted x7 but happy I got xiaomi instead.
Of course battery could be better, hope that can be fixed with some firmware optimisation. Had similar experience with my Mi note 10, updating from miui10 to 11 significantly improved battery life.
Being with xiaomi for a quite a few years now I'm happy with the software. What annoys me is the camera rattling... A month with 14 ultra already but still notice it.

Man, sorry but "rear 4K lens" doesn't mean anything, 4K is a resolution for videos. And no, Samsung doesn't have "Ultra" camera setup, is actually very old in terms of hardware (sensors, check the size).
In the ultra wide comparison you said "don't forget to set the aperture, that's why is darker on Xiaomi", aperture is mechanical only on the main sensor. It's darker cause you set the exposure on the sky, in that photo.
Xiaomi is also the only one shooting 4K at 120fps, the only one with floating lens on the 75mm and the macro on both Tele and periscope lens.

Which sensor is bigger than the equivalent sensor on the Oppo Find x7 ultra? 2 are the same size and the other two are a lot bigger on the Oppo. The Oppo has bigger sensors overall. Check the specs. Maybe you are confusing aperture with sensor size?
How is the battery life on the Xiaomi ?Do you use 2 sims and what is the screen on time ?

I found Samsung has issues so far I've found loads past 6 weeks 😮 inc wifi calling . Bad signal . Volume not working in apps have to restart phone 3 times a week.

They do but the one on Xiaomi has variable aperture (from 1.63 to 4) 1.63 is larger than 1.8 from Oppo

Life Hack for Xiaomi - 1. Remove the Sim card tray. 2. Start shooting video for 10 minutes, or run the Antutu test. The problem is solved.

Hopeful Oppo will make a global/UK release again next year now they've resolved their Nokia dispute.
Find X5 Pro was a lovely phone. Although Oppo has kinda left the older phones on the shelf when it comes to updates --- very slow -- my wife's been using the X5 Pro since last year and it got the Android 14 update last week finally but virtually no updates at all last year. That's my only reservation on them. Samsung went from terrible to amazing on the updates front, dropping both OS and security updates very quickly.
My Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets a good 20% higher score than the S24 Ultra does despite being same chip and so far the pictures/nature bokeh from the low f-stop lenses is really nice

@@goodoldjr83 hi, all my updates are coming through I've had no issues. I think some people have issues with notifications showing on the always on display but I don't use always on display

Nice comparison. Some mistakes on the camera part that I hope you can correct in your full camera comparison. You mention the ultrawide in Xiaomi is dark because you didn't adjust the aperture. However, you can't adjust the aperture in ultrawide so that point makes no sense. Also you mention the main wide angle sensor is slightly larger in Xiaomi but it's exactly the same size as the Oppo. Both use the same LYT900 sensor. Similarly you say Xiaomi's 5x zoom sensor is bigger than the Samsung 5x zoom sensor and OPPO 6x zoom sensor. However the 6x sensor on the Oppo Find x7 ultra is the same imx858 as used on the Xiaomi 14 ultra

Fyi brother the Oppo find x7 ultra *only* has a 5000mah battery, not 5400mah. Still amazing battery life I'm getting nearly 8 hours screen on time easy

Xiaomi 14 Ultra has better speakers than the other two. Galaxy has the worse speakers out of the three.
Haptic feedback on the 14 Ultra is pretty crappy compared to my LG V60. Better speakers than the V60.

I have the Mi 14 Ultra Chinese version and the phone gets pretty hot while taking photos and videos. Battery drain is quite fast even though it's 5300 mAh. But everything else is great, screen is fabulous, speakers sound great. Photos and videos are so crispy and beautiful.

Oppo, Oneplus & Realme OS system are basically the same only different OS name on top of Android 14 for China version there’s no Google voice services and no android auto.

The s24 ultra has my favorite design due to the dark corning gorilla glass with non reflective screen and my favorite design with the camera bump on the back but I really respect Xiaomi alot and their efforts

I use the s23 ultra and HDR 10 is a great video feature and when I watch in the samsung video library they work well

Oppo Find X7 Ultra is one of rare CN phones which works on all bands including the problematic B20 800MHZ so all EU networks work well, also the notifications problem on CN ROMs are easy to fix on xiaomi by adding the app to autostart and changing battery saver option to "no restrictions", I hope this will work on Oppo too as I'm buying it thanks to your great reviews, Thanks
