    My father’s home town. His father, grandfather and other family members were coal miners at the Bon Jellico mine. His mother was raised in the Bon Jellico coal camp, her father ran the steam plant and sawmill. Many of my Appalachian hillbilly ancestors are buried in the holler cemeteries (Marsh Creek, Jellico Creek)…I was born and raised in Philadelphia PA.

    I think, in reference to the river and mountains, those are the Cumberland River and Cumberland Mountains, respectively.

    We were just here in June. Sweet little country town.. had a good pizza at the restaurant down town...the university is beautiful there

    Such a shitty place to live, the people suck, police harass you when you aren't even doing anything and there's literally nothing there. Unless you're old and wanna retire here I don't recommend it
