Hi Lindsey, I am a Dutch girl that just graduated from a flower school. You don't have to throw away your Orchid if you put him on an inconspicuous spot and you keep giving your orchid water, then after a while your orchid will have new flowers.
Your orchid isn't dying! When all the flowers fall off, clip the stem at the bottom and it will grow back with new beautiful flowers :) !! The plant itself is still alive!

Its a huge loft in downtown LA.
I'll be entering my final year of college next year and I'm just about to turn 21. I finally feel more like an adult (I say as I sip wine.) I plan to move back in with my parents right after graduation so that I can work and save up some money, but this apartment tour really inspired me for my future apartment. I've always dreamed of having my own space one day and pouring my creativity into decorating it and making it my own. I'm so excited for this next decade in my life and for exploring who I am. I've chosen to make my 20s a decade about ME. I obviously yearn for a family one day, but in the meantime I will focus on discovering who I want to be. ANYWAY, thanks for this spark of inspiration. I really love how your space is a reflection of who you are... :)
While I'm a Mom with kids and could never do a loft, I must say your loft is goals. Perfect for someone your age. Adorable!!!!!!

Also, I really appreciate that you start the tour with some wide shots of the space. Most people just dive in to showing off the small details, not allowing an impression of the overall space. I definitely like this better.

You're not in Georgia anymore honey! We live in LA, the land of earthquakes that happen day or in the middle of the nigh and you have so many loose items directly by your bed above your head. Get those bolted to the wall for your own sake :)

Nicely done! The box above the fridge is typically good for storing serving trays, muffin and cookie sheets, meat platters, cheese board and other not often used kitchen machines. I also keep gallon jugs of vinegar up there because I refuse to use nastier chemicals to clean my house. LOVE that couch.

orchid usually only bloom for about 4 months out of the year, sometimes longer. don't throw it away thinking it's dead! 😂
yes your right! it's still alive, after the flower and stem is dried out, cut it. and next season it will grow again! water sparingly! it doesn't need a lot of water either

Such a beautiful space. I love an eclectic space that looks as if it has been collected over time. I also have crystal, Quartz, and agates on display. Helps with the serene atmosphere I want for my space. Love your plants. I might incorporate some. Well maybe I will try some fake ones first.

Love it! Nicely decorated~love your dark floors, the exposed brick, wall of windows, and the tiny bubble mirrors are an incredible piece to put opposite the windows to reflect light.
I remember watching your room tour when you were still in Highschool and I was in middle school and it inspired me to make my room pretty! Now I'm watching your apartment tour and it's inspiring me to make my now even bigger room pretty and appropriate for starting college! I'm trying to make it look like a dorm room since I won't be in a dorm :)
