I very much prefer to explore the natural landscape and historic/cultural sites of the country than to vist Asmara. Its to Italian influenced for my liking.

It is a wonderful unsparing for other when ever we go to Eritrea to visit our villages and enjoy with the cousins left them . If possible help them with idea and contribute to have clean water and solar energy. Farm equipment . It great idea to go and visit. Keep it up . Try to organise people from your village abroad to build it . I can see most the houses are empty, obviously the young people are easer in front serving the country or abroad. God bless you .
Villagers that is the kind of life they live, specially in Eritrea. If you are going to help dont look for fancy project. I do believe Weqerti students do travell a long road to go to school, Here's my suggestion: Bike School supplies Shoes Water well for the school and for the villagers. Get all deqi Weqerti, with help of a few whatever is in ur mind it can be accomplished. Good luck brother

The beautiful church on top of the mountain was funded by Ato Tesfamariam, and built by an Italian architect. Ato Tesfamariam previously lived in Gonder almost all of his life and decided in Eritrea.
