When Meryl got nominated for a golden globe and even when i first heard about Iron Lady i knew in the back of my mind that she would win. but of course everyone has their doubts and i thought just because i wanted her to win doesn't mean shes going to. However,i was overjoyed when he called her name i couldn't speak! but im only 12 so i don't really know what goes on in the acting world but i know her ans she never give up so congrats Meryl you really earned it
Such a gifted actor with the special talent she possesses and she is one of a kind and I don’t know if there will ever be someone like Meryl. Love you Meryl and thank you very much for all your years of entertainment you have given to us your audience and fans.

@jecr132 Absolutely, totally agree with you!! I am overjoyed that she won the Oscar too. She is probably the BEST living actress of our time and her body of superlative work testifies that! She should still be winning ALL the awards that there is for acting. Because she IS the BEST...
I just adore this woman,she's so lovely and witty and a wonderful woman.And can we talk about the fact that she is 62 years old and looks around 32 years old?!Geez,it's like she never ages.Gorgeous!

"I lost my glasses" lol I was just watching the ceremony itself and saw how they tried to give her glasses, but one dude could not give her while she was on stage and apparently kept the glasses of the famous Meryl Streep hahaha

@83annak Susan was nominated over 20 times for a Daytime Emmy that doesn't mean she was a bad actress it is a total opposite. The reporter was saying that Meryl is the Susan Lucci of the Oscars because Meryl was nominated 16 times at the Oscars. How could someone be nominated for an acting award if they are bad at it?
