  • During World War I, Canadian engineer Joseph Holt designed a self-funded automatic rifle, known as the Holt automatic rifle, to address the lack of weapons and equipment in the Canadian military. Despite successful testing and positive feedback, the rifle was never mass-produced or put into service due to Holt's lack of connections and corrupt bureaucratic institutions.

    Sorry to tell you this bud, but the gun is called the Huot, not the Holt. The designer was named Joseph Huot, the gun is called the Huot Automatic Rifle, etc. In the future, if you're gonna do videos like this, it doesn't hurt to reach out to other people or even do a Google search just to make sure mistakes like this don't happen, cuz when they do, it makes you look silly as hell
