- Elafonisi is located 75 kilometers south west of Chania and 210 from Heraklion at the south west edge of Crete
Elafonisi looks like an island becouse you need to walk 200 meters shallow waters to go there
The pink and white sand give to the shallow waters many shades of light blue colours and with the landscape make this place unique and extreme beautiful thats why is believed that is the most nice beach on Crete and has a place in world best beaches it might be far from the major cities but it s worthing every single kilometer even if you need to walk it :)

There are so many people and sunbeds…
But the water is amazing!

Was it still very busy?last time were there in August and was really busy....but still amazing beach!!!
@@holidayexpertscrete the sunbed areas were packed but the main beach was not crowded heaven knows why people like sitting on a sunbed or around hotel pools when the beaches in Crete are so beautiful
I think now is the best period to visit and enjoy popupar beaches like Elafonisi....less crowded and sea and weather still warm!!!You should go for Balos next 😉
