- A pop rock band for years, the Haim sisters are among the part of the Licorice Pizza cast.
The movie stars Alana Haim, who has been nominated for Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy/musical for her performance. Hr two sisters, Danielle and Este, also appear as family members in the film that was written, directed and produced by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Maybe this is the latte talking, but this interview almost made me cry. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I gather that Danielle and Este don't have big roles, yet they are doing this interview supporting their baby sister. I also feel an unwarranted sense of pride (and joy) for Alana; love that she got this opportunity! You go, girls!

Unbelieveable this was Alana's first acting gig. Wow. She had really great chemistry with Cooper. I liked the story, but it was frustrating because as PTA said, "This film is void of a traditional plot". You just have to sit down and enjoy the roller coaster ride. The photography was really beautiful too. It was great to see the San Fernando Valley and all the amazing sunsets throughout..Im looking forward to seeing Alanas next film for sure.

One of my favorite scene is Wolverine in X-Men first class. Not because of the F Bomb being perfectly delivered by Hugh Jackman. But the way the other two reacted calmly and just walked away. They just quietly Fucked off. That made me literally ROFL.

Really? They have a very good band called Haim, you should check it out. They were nominated for best album of the year in 2021 Grammys.
i didnt know either til i saw the credits. Her mom and dad are in it too. Paul Thomas Anderson shot a number of music vids for her band. thats how he cast her in this.

Love PTA but the movie was weak at best. All the hype and 5 star reviews are over the top.
