You don’t know that. But when it comes down to it, misdemeanor assault is FAR less serious than what Miu did. And guess what. THE TEENS HAVE THE SAME EXCUSE MIU TRIED TO USE. Miu LITERALLY assaulted them FIRST. The only people who had grounds for self defense were the teens and young adults.

Dude I feel this way for any river. Here in the AZ Valley, we have the Salt River. I've only been there twice. The 2nd time wasn't so bad. The first time, my buddies rescued a drowning man, I almost drowned and nobody wanted to save me except some random woman who was kind enough to let me hang on to her tube. I was sucked down by a current. A huge fight broke out right when we got out of the river. The exit location is in the most violent rapids.

One of the jurors had been accused of sleeping in court, days earlier. There is a really boring video about it where the prosecution takes the stand to swear this. The judge waives the concern. So the alleged sleeping juror was part of this group 🤡. Pathetic trial.

I would argue that wrongfully accusing someone of being a sexual predator is a special crime in itself, because of the likelihood of inciting violence from others that hear it. after seeing the so-called victims testify, i think this is a terrible finding by the jury. juries are wayy too eager to throw someone's life away imo. i'd guess that his behavior after the stabbing and post-arrest is really what harmed him the most though.
The demographic of the jury was strange. I got the sense they wanted to go home and be done with it. No way did they all agree that quickly. One or two jurors likely got pressured in the deliberation room. The charges were ridiculous.
There were multiple choices they did not find him guilty with intent to harm or murder. They found him guilty on reckless behavior, the jury got it right.
